Dupli-Color, available at most automotive parts stores, has the widest paint color selection, in "rattle cans." The D-C site also has a good tutorial on prep and application of their paint. Do a search for Dupli Color, it may be a good resource for anyone working with rattle cans.

the second time I did the frame I had to have it baked in an oven at 800 degres. This will turn the paint to ash, then it it given an acid bath and phosphate rinse. Mind you, the alluminum parts skip the oven and go right to the acid, as that temp will harm the alluminum. My plastics I painted with krylon fusion for the first coats and then did the green and pearl with dupl-color as mentioned. you can buy both paints at auto zone

Just seen the Gecko about an hour ago up close and I got to say that thing is bad ass. I had to go get a belt at the last minute for some bad luck I've been having so I figured I'd check out The Scooter Shop and that's where I seen Shookupart and his scoot. Gotta say your wide open man. But dude hope to meetup and go riding while the weathers still nice.

Wow! Am loving the Gecko. It's incredible. Great job, Shook. I do agree that the seat looks painful. Here's another bone for ya.

if fluid is needed how do you servise it and what kind of fluid does it use? Might wanna post this in the correct forum. But as a heads up, there is no transmission fluid. These have a CVT tranny. Jive
