Just got the bb kit. It's gonna be a couple days before I can get it put together, but I'll keep you updated on how its doing! Are you still using the stock carb with yours? if so, could you give me a rough idea of how the tuning screws should be? (how many turns in)

well that didnt turn out too well. the 12 to 10mm wrist pin bearing/adapter ended up being too large. its 17mm, where the crank is only 16mm. So now I'm pretty much screwed... unless i buy an aftermarket 12mm piston, or a $300 crank assembly, or if i can find somewhere else that makes a 12mm to 10mm bearing thats 16mm instead of 17mm. Or I could just send the whole kit back to Enviromoto for a refund. What would you guys do if you were in my situation?

Send it back! I used Autotech 355's kit and it worked fine. $135, it it here in less than a week with a few 'gifts" thrown in. If you still want to make work what you have, check SP Moto store for that bearing/adaptor. You could call them for particulars as they are very helpful.

2strokd, where did you get your sport kit from? how much did you pay? what is the model number? Jeremy is having a touch time finding a 12mm version of the sport kit.

You're sure it's the 0104? When I went to scooterattack the 0104 was listed for the 10mm model of the hussar, the 0105 was listed as the 12mm model.

Awesome so then the 0105 is the right kit for me. Thanks. I got my clutch springs and slider weights yesterday so I'll be putting those in later today.

If you can just put the sliders in first and tell me honest opinion about em? Are they Dr.Pulley? Same weight?

If you can just put the sliders in first and tell me honest opinion about em? Are they Dr.Pulley? Same weight? They're Dr. Pulley 5 gram. I'm running 4 gram rollers right now. I asked for 5.5 gram, but I guess the guy sent me 5 gram by mistake. I'm probably going to have to wait for the bb kit to come before I can test them out though, because I already took my original cylinder off, and I dont have any gaskets.

I see, i run 4.5 Dr.P sliders and love em. Just wanted to get another opinion on em. If you are waiting on your bb before you try them out that will throw the results off a bit. In a good way though! I bet the 5g sliders will be great. I have been wanting switch to 5g cause mine are a tad light with the Polini cylinder, ok for the stock jug though.

Nice! I wonder if you got the one I shipped back. If you did, the piston rings should still be on the piston, I didnt want to break them when taking them back off after I had already gotten them on.

I'm sure I will. Now if only the post office would get their butts in gear and deliver it! Yet another day has gone by and nothing has been left on my doorstep. I'm reduced to riding around on my mom's Honda Metropolitan.

I'm reduced to riding around on my mom's Honda Metropolitan. lol, i hate waiting for parts . Like a kid waiting for X-mas. Hey speaking of Metropolitans, how does it run? Top speed? Is it stock? I have one that needs a little more power or mph...

Well its cold and rainy out, so my top speed was showing around 34 on the way home from work 10 mins ago. I've had it up to almost 40 though. The one thing I love is that the clutch engages so quickly. And it really has quite a bit of takeoff too. It's completely stock.

166.0105 part no. I've got it together as far as I can get it right now. The exhaust doesnt line up anymore, so I'm going to have to make a new exhaust bracket again. How far does your exhaust come from hitting your back tire? Because when I line up the exhaust port with the pipe head, and get it so that the port matches up, it comes within a few mm of my tire. It's probably just because it's a Zuma pipe, so the metal is probably shaped wrong. I'm going to have to drill out the holes for the head of the cylinder too. 2 of them are fine, but the other 2 are way too small to even fit around the bolts.

Scratch that last post. I just rebuilt my bracket using 2 straight pieces of steel. Drilled some holes and they bolted right on. I hooked it up to the cylinder, tightened everything down, and the exhaust is sitting exactly where it was before. Worked just like I was imagining Now I just have to drill out those bolt holes in the head and slap that on. Thats a project for tomorrow though.

Weird i wonder why? You are talking about the holes that the head bolts on with, the stud holes lol.? Yep, both of the left side ones are just a tiny bit too small to fit over the head bolts. Very weird.

Got it drilled, shaved the head of the exhaust so that it fits flat against the gasket, put everything together. and let me just say 2 words: HELL YES I got it in tune and took it out for its first ride. I was sort of babying it, but its like. 2 - 3 secs from a dead stop and you're already at 28 mph (according to the bike speedo) Thank you 2strokd and Brent for suggesting that I get the 70cc kit. Thank you Jeremy for getting the kit for me, and thank you 2strokd again for having such an awesome scooter that made me want to copy you. Too bad its going to be November in a week. I probably won't get to ride it much this year anymore. Maybe I'll have some fun in the snow

Thank you ! Glad its up and running strong . Fun huh? Im excited for ya! I was looking at mine today and figured what the heck its worth one more shot. So i put my sport kit back together with some slight grooves in the piston(i sanded em to take the edges off). Let me say, HELL YEA! After pretty much cooking this piston twice its still running and running strong lol, go Polini! Im kinda nervous with it though. After all the abuse i dont want it coming apart and ending up with piston in the case. I kinda put it back together just to prove it would still run like that, but it runs so good i dont wanna take it back apart yet . I think im gonna pull it soon that way its still usable and i can have it bored to fit the 48mm piston 190mech sent me. Thanks 190 ;D!

I may still put in my 87.5 jet and retune my carb, seeing I'm still getting some bog at takeoff and you can hear it sucking air. It's raining today so I can't do much. Can't wait til spring! Have a bone 2strokd.
And as 2strokd said, if you need any help working on that Triton of yours, just let us know and we'll help you as much as we can.
