Hello everyone, Short Version: Starting a local club, need people, meeting details below: Tentative info... Get-together: BJ's at the Ontario Mills, 11520 4th St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA Date: Thursday, November 6, 2008 Time: 8:00 pm Provided: Smiles and air...Since it's just a restaurant and we can't really reserve a room, you'll probably need to get a soda and a snack or something Long Version: After a bit of discussion with Aerostudent and medman, we are going to try to get an official "Scootdawg Club" chapter going for the Inland Empire (Southern California). As this will be an official group, we need to go about it all the correct way. The first step is that we need some interested people. I'd like to set up a meeting at BJ's at the Ontario Mills on a Thursday night, say around 8pm. This should be early enough so people can get to bed and late enough for those who don't get off right at 5. Let's all get together and kick some ideas around. I guess due to the lack of any other clubs currently, let's say it's open to anyone in So Cal. If you have any ideas, lets start kicking some around. Stewy

Just posted this in the cali scooter club thread beforeI found this post.
You can add me to the So. Cal. scooter club. I am purchasing a Lance Vintage 150 from a local dealer this weak. I am going to Mountain Motorsports in Ontario. It is the closest dealer to where I live, and I can ride there no problems. I actually drive by there all the time on the way to work. By the way, has anyone purchased a scooter from them? How are they? Can you negotiate with them? All info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

;D I should take my scooter to school that day, so I can have it with me at the meeting. I should be there, as It's between my school and my home, and I'm suposed to be helping start it! ;D

So, I know this was posted a while ago (over a year and a half) but I was just seeing what the status was of this chapter and if there has indeed been an Inland Empire Chapter that was started? If so..details...

I'd suggest going to the other California thread that has the list of California members I've been adding to for several years and find members in your area, look up their profile and see how recently they have logged in, then if they are active, send them a private message to get something going.

I'm in Riverside and ride my 150cc Il Bello whenever I can to UCR and downtown. I would love to meet up and cruise around with other peeps.
