Don't have a scoot yet, but I've named my Tomos moped 'Joy Buzzer' as you get a lot of joy from a motorbike, but a Tomos is known for vibration issues.

My SUV is a (S)aturn (Vu)e so it is named SUE. My Chinese scoot is named Ming. Sometimes I call her Ming Sue, my wife likes Sue Ming. The name, not the scoot so much.

Springer Spaniel the Dog Nosed Scooter or "Springer" for short. Springer because it is a Honda Helix and a spring is a helix shape. Dog Nosed scooter, 'cause look at it. 1987 Honda Helix 3/4 Front by mjkeogh303, on Flickr

since my wife does not know much about scooters, and 50cc and 260cc does not ring a bell for her, I just call the 50cc the small scooter, and the 260 the big one.
On the forums, I call the small one the Tao, and the big one my 260

The Helix is kinda plush. If I am not careful, it will bottom out on big bumps. It is 244cc. The Roketa 54B I owned previously was much stiffer, while being a better handler. I am on my third windshield trying to find the perfect dimensions.

I was refering to the Helix. I hope you were not offended by my comment on the looks. Even tho, that scoot would be one of my first choices for cross country.
Does yours have the Stereo?

Post by turtle8 on Dec 11, 2012 16:14:46 GMT -5
My Helix didn't come with the optional stereo. My Roketa had a stereo, but I never used it. The speakers weren't great and the wind woulda probably drowned them out.

My Bandit 260 is named 'Lisa' after my best friend. She named my motorcycle 'Tina' after Tina Turner. The 150 is 'Lance' and my wife's 50cc has no name (except when it won't start).
