I've got a problem! I installed a new gy6 engine in my scooter, but the wires that come from this new engine have a different hook up than my other engine. With this new engine, there is a red wire, blue and white wire, and a plug in with three yellow wires and a green wire going into it. My plug in on my scooter has a black and white wire, a green wire, and a 3 prong plug in with 3 green wires. Is there some kind of adapter or something to get these plug ins to match up?? I wish I could post pictures on here of both of them, but i couldn't get it to work. If anybody has any suggestions, or knows what I could do, I would appreciate any help!
Thanks

Bad news: You can't just plug it in. There are no adapters for this. You will need to do some rewiring. Good News: You now have an 11 coil stator and can run HID lamps and will never have a problem with charging. The 11 coil is pure honda stuff. You will need the 7 PIN regulator from www.partsforscooters.comHook it up like this: And you will be good to go. I know, I have the same engine

I'm not exactly sure what ur talking about... Wiring From The Engine I have 3 yellow and a green wire in the red plug in, a blue wire and a red/black wire. Wiring To The Scooter I have 3 yellow wires going into the 3 prong plug in, and a green wire, and a black/white wire with blue on the end. Here are pics of what I am talking about!

It looks like I have the same wiring, but I have the adapter. If you take a look at the right side with 3 wires, there is no wire below the yellow. But, on the 4 wire left side, it has 2 yellow wires top and bottom, and green wire bottom/yellow wire top. DIFFERENT ANGLE

My wiring is a little different as my wires going into the white adapter are different than yours. I have 3 yellow wires going into mine, and I don't have the red wire in the wiring with the white adapter either.
