Agreed. It would be nice to have a little support for the Chinese scoots. Not much out there.

I am the owner of a 250B Roketa. I only have 750 miles on it. I am enjoying the little scoot. I am in the Eubank and Indian School area. I commute every day down Eubank to Academy. I have 750 miles on it. I have changed the valve stems and oil and trans fluids. I will be doing the brake fluid and coolant this weekend. I will probably change out the OEM bulbs for LEDS. If anyone wants to chat...give me a shout and let's have coffee.

Well still riding alone, had a great ride on the back side of the mountain today, leaves are changing colors. Almost got blown off the road by all the Harley's passing me. One of these days I am going to get brave enough to make it to Madrid right behind all those Harley's!!

You're making me wish I had two whole wheels even more. I'm not much of a group rider, but once I get a new front wheel that fits, if it's not totally freezing out, I wouldn't mind a ride with someone who knows the mountain roads a little better.

I have not ridden in a group yet, always by myself but to go some more places it would be nice to have one or two more scooters for visability and just flat down have some one else to ride with in case of the what evers.
Keep plugging along on the repairs.

Howdy, Pardners, my name is Claudio, but I'm also known as ce.
That's a litle c, and a little e. I'll tell you about it sometime.
This is a fortuitous development, because, wouldn't ya know, I live on the backside of Nob Hill, and I commute downtown every day on my Lifan 50.
I'm an old scoot hand, on the Rio Grande. And I come to town, just to hear the band. I ain't never rode a cow in the rodeo, I'd ride up to the Heights, but my scoot's too slow, Whoopie yi yo ki yay!
Yeah, my daughter was in the Nomads Scooter Club about 8 years ago, and they would hang out in the garage working on scoots and stuff, but they didn't let me join 'cause I didn't have a scooter.
I still got to go on the campouts and parties though, and one time they got a 16 mm film of "Quadrophenia", by The Who, and rented the Lobo Theater for a screening, and I got in free, but the real cool scene was 25 scooters lining Central Avenue out front, and all the Nomads and the Pharaohs, and even some Denver and Tucson scooterdudes showed up.
Those clubs exclusively rode vintage Vespas and Lambrettas, but that was before the whole Chinese scooter craze came down.
So, I want to start a scooter club, The Duke City Dragons Scooter Club.
I'm still trying to get my Roketa M-17 Sicily 150 squared away, and then I'll be The Big Scoot Daddy, but now I'm rolling hard on the 50, so let's have a meet if we can get enough people, maybe at one of the cafes around UNM.
My youngest daughter works at Anapurna, and goes to CNM, she also rides a Lifan 50, just don't tell her about my new Roketa, or she'll take it away from me.
Digit, Claudio

Well it seems like there are just not many people interested. I was hoping to see something come around before it got to cold to ride for the year. I will keep checking in to see if you do get some more responses for a club ce.

Du calme, ma petite, rappelle toi les bons mots de Napoleon Bonaparte;
L'audace, toujours l'audace!
Anyway, the scooter art is still fledgling here, but as more and more scootists come on the scene, they'll find this forum, and maybe gravitate together in other ways.
I'm trying to foster camaraderie by tooting at passing scooters, and talking to riders when we meet, and just anything that can further the interest in cultivating a mutual interest.
So be friendly, talk to people, be seen on the scene, and we might have to wait til spring, but I think there'll still be a lot of riders out there all winter.
It's not THAT cold. Besides, if you let your scooter just sit, it'll never run right.
Scooters need to be wild and free, like mustangs in the moonlight.

Woo Hoo! I'm 2-wheels down again! If it's not getting too cold, and the SO approves (I've let the honey-do list get a little on the long side....) I'm up for a ride. In fact, I may take a long lunch break right now!

Went for a nice ride today on the back side of the mountain. Going again on Sunday. If anyone is interested I will be at the Smiths on Tramway and Central at 10 am, I am riding out to meet another rider at the Zuzac Chevron Station at 11 and going for lunch some where out there and some riding.

What, what? Next weekend, why sure, that sounds cool!
Too bad nobody else turned up, but now that I know that mascoot is way cool 100%, when she says we ride, we ride.
I'll follow your lead, you know all the cool places up there in the mountains.
This was a real treat, meeting mascoot, and while I was waiting I met Fred, who has a Kymco 150 that he's been riding for 2 years, and we just started talking scooters, and I found out how to get my license squared away, and we were inspired to appreciate the ride, it is all about the ride.
Thanks to mascoot, looks like we got a scooter club going, so all you locals, if you want to fit right in, just make the scene.
Way cool. What nice people.

Thanks ce!! Tried to give you a dawg bone but guess I don't know how. Lets see what the weather is going to do and figure when to ride. I am set to later in the day when it gets warmer. When we make our palns I will call Fred and see if he is up to it.
My friend from work is wanting to talk with you. I told him where to find you so lets see if he gets here. He is the one I was to meet on Sunday. Thanks!!!

It's Friday, and it looks like this mission is A-OK for 10am on Sunday.
The weather should be nice and warm, and the scooters are all go, so anyone within 500 miles, be at the Smith's at Tramway and Central, and mascoot will take us into the wild blue yonder on the other side up through Tijeras Canyon, on old Route 66, then up into Cedar Crest, and that's as far as I know.
The mystical city of Paako lies out there, waiting to be scootered.
Be there, or be square!

Hey, mascoot, como frijole, how you bean?
I've been lurking and learning, trying to keep my P-10 flying, and I'm hoping I can make a last flutter in to Scooteroos and see if they'll tear into the engine and stop the clattering madness.
I'll talk to them tomorrow, I went to Downtown Scooter, but wasn't impressed that they could perform surgery without all that hairy dreadlock stuff getting into my engine.
My Roketa is still a champion, though, so let's go for a cruise after these storms pass.
I'm glad you didn't corral yer filly in the barn for a few months, I've been riding to work every day.
Let's go for a ride either the 15th, or the 22nd.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear about scooter problems.
I went for a cruise last Saturday with Deeno650, he has a Roketa also. I am up to a ride any time of course weather permitting. You never know with this weather. I am trying to get some yard work done and next thing I know I am out of the scooter. Looking forward to some warm riding weather. Let me know when you want to go.

Hello to all,
There is a ride next weekend Feb. 22nd meeting at 10:30 at Scooter Roo on Eubank. I joined this group Feb. 14th for a ride thru Corrales, what a great group of mixed riders and scooters.

Great to hear of more joining. I don't know where the ride is going on the 22nd. The weather sounds like it is going to be good. Possible the back side of the mountain? We will not know till Sunday. And I thought it was great having motorcycles joining us. That is what makes it such a neat group of riders.
