The Koncedmotor site has a "Throw together" website... and the "About Us" page does not exist...
Not a good start... Manufacture... I doubt it... reseller of relabeled china-scoots... possibly.
The blacktopmotorsports is offering nothing special. They have conflicting info... They can't decide how much the scooter sells for, and they are selling $300.00 over most people. (The XY 1506T sells for $1200.00 on most other sites. They seem to be deceptively masking it as the 1507T, which has been jacked-up by most sellers, to $1600.00, which would be about normal.)
However... the blacktopmotorsports does have good/reasonable prices on "Parts", and the fact that they have parts... is a good sign. (Might be worth the extra spending... not sure if they do a dealer inspection or not...)

Hi isashwinn, Sorry but Konced is the manufactorer. The MFG tag on my 150 is clear on that point. The title is for a SunL but the mfg is definetely Konced.
As for the quality it isn't a bad little scooter but it did have some problems when I got it that needed to be addressed,
Ride safe, ride long.

I have a Konced retro 150cc since February and I have really enjoyed it. It's had two problems--lose spark plug wire and rubber grommet on center stand breaking. Both were fixed with minimal effort. It's got over 600 miles on it now and it's a real attraction to people wherever I go. That's probably common with any scooter but I think it also has to do with the looks. I recently rode a TNG and my comparison with it is noted here: tinyurl.com/59axo2Now that the spark plug wire has been firmly placed where it should be and how it should be, I think my scoot would rival the TNG in handling (Red Hot just "feels" better on the road now) and looks (except for the extra chrome and the bigger kickstand on the lowboy). I looked on the TNG website and it says that the lowboy has a net weight of 225# while the Konced has a net weight of 230# so whatever equipment is different, the difference in the weight of the scoots is not much. It just seemed the TNG weighed more, guess because I wasn't quite used to it. Konced is reported to be partnered with Zongshen or was. Not quite sure what that means to the big picture but I've been happy with my scoot. In fact, I have become quite attached to her. I'm sure it has more to do with the drop-shipper than with Konced itself but scoot was ordered 02/13, got here 02/17 and had all necessary and CORRECT paperwork on 02/18. Since hubby is a pretty good mechanic, this was the choice for us. However, if this wasn't the case, the TNG lowboy from a B&M dealer how we probably would have bought a scoot. Like the big dawgs here will tell you...some ChiScoots are great, some are borderline, some are lemons. I think the one we got is a great one. modified to add: Forgot about having to replace the bulb in the headlight. High beam went out but low beam worked. Ordered replacement from internet. Then low beam went out a few days later. Replacement bulb came within 2-3 days. Replaced old one and it's working like it should now.

koncedmotor.com/Is still a throw-together website... and the page is still broken. The "Manufacture" is in china... Not the USA. They have distributors in the USA. They only have 30 technicians... which is 1/100th what Xingyue has for technicians. As for the statement... "Largest US manufacture", that is just a lie. Nothing is manufactured here. Not one scooter or motorcycle. They say on another page... "One of the largest"... One out of 100 manufactures... I am sure. Here is more info on them... "Konced manufacturing facility produces around 30,000 motorcycles and 20,000 engines per year." (Xingyue manufactures millions. For comparison.) This is their "Real" page... Not sure who made that other page. Possibly a counterfeit production company, or a registered distributor. It is not owned by the company. The "Office" they show... is the office for the company. The "Company" sells real-estate, fiver-optical, scooters, motorcycles, and building supplies. (Hardly a "Scooter Manufacture". More like a company that acquires other companies. They purchased some other manufacture. The actual manufacture just dropped the name in the process.) www.konced.com/en/Index.aspwww.konced.com/en/Industry/Motor/They operate just like Xingyue... If you buy enough items, they will gladly throw your name on the bike. Like SunL has had done. Good info though... I am adding them to my list of contacts. I am not saying that they are bad, just that site you sent, was not "The Manufacture"...
