I'd love to know if www.americanmopeds.com is a legit company. It doesn't look like they've had a web site for very long. If you google they're toll free # (877-306-6733) you get results for a company that sold phone accessories.

kz1000st just received 2 from them, 7 day shipping, coast to coast.... sounds legit to me.
I just don't understand why noobs won't listen to seasoned advice, of those that have been there, and done that, but come in with 2 posts, and wan't to stir a non-existant pot....
KZ, did his research, CALLED the people on the phone, and a week later was the proud owner of 2 Cubby Clones. All that sounds like positive feedback, from ACTUAL experience. Then you got the uber-noobs, wanting to cast shadows wherever they can. And semi noobs that haven't followed advice for 4 months, still are NOT riding, and still not listenning......
You guys are funny!

It even turns out that when I called to inquire if my MCO requests went through, they hadn't. The young lady on the other end told me to send them to maria@jonwayamerica.com.
Does the name Jonway America sound familar? How about Lance selling Jonway scooters and many of the 250 scoots here come from Jonway? All these companies have subdivisions and outlets. znendirect, taotao, bashan america. I'll let you know when I get the paperwork but so far this outfit can be added to the list. My Cubbies came on a big Yellow Freight truck.
P.S. When I want to call a number, I don't Google it first I actually use the phone. I saved $200 on shipping talking to a nice man. If you read this forum kliff and I have said it a hundred times. "THE PHONE IS YOUR FRIEND-CALL"

Wow, that website looks just like readytoridepowersports.com. How many different names and websites do they have now? They have 6 new websites. If you Google their phone number, the 214-736-8890, you'll see how many of them have been around in the past and the domain names are now, 'for sale'. I'm told they have over $.5M in charge backs from credit card companies, which is the reason they keep changing their name. You can't sell China scoots for a 5-10% profit, it just doesn't work unless you intend to cheat your customers. All they need is one claim to loose the profit on 10 sales. Two years ago, I recommended them because they were the cheapest, and even if it took a long time to get parts, you did get them. Today? They are just a scam company, making promises they have no intention of ever keeping. -Rich
