Anyone in Florida familiar with Gekgo Scooters near Tampa. They have an okay website and I did think about buying from them in the past, but I do not know anyone who has been to their shop.
Thanks,
Aaron

I'm just up the road from Cape Coral in Punta Gorda. Only had my Tank Touring 150 DE for about a month. So far, Great! There are some scooter riders around here, but haven't been able to contact any so far.

<--Brandon, SW of Tampa Bought my scoot from Gekgo on W. Bay Dr. They were the only shop in the area that i found, thier website is not great and thier store has little stock. Pete is pretty cool, gave me a good deal on my scoot. Strada RX200HP $1650, Tax, tags, preped and delivered... The woman that works there, well she is OK.. I have only been there a few times but i bought the scoot before i found this forum or you guys may have influenced my decision on where to buy Agator82, i get my bike from them today, ill let you know how it is later

We live in Wellington in central Palm Beach County, west of West Palm Beach. Not many scoots in my immediate neighborhood, but I swear I saw a guy on a yellow 150-T12 a while ago. Haven't seen him since
My grandkids live in Ocala, Agator! We go there 3 or 4 times a year but seldom stay overnight. Usually we pick up our grandson and haul azz back home. I always see hundreds of 2-wheelers in Ocala & Silver Springs. What a nice place to ride! Would love to put a carrier on my Envoy and take the bike with me sometime.
One of these days I want to ride the loop around Lake O, but need to find a group to ride with.
jackthefuzz and drb1984 are my closest neighbors. *waves*

I grew up in Land O' Lakes and know very well of all the driving hazards of Tampa and St. Pete.
The saying goes " Pray for me, I drive 19".
There are still some safe places in the panhandle that a scooter may survive. I had no intentions of returning to two wheels until the gas got the better of me. Now I am the proud owner of 2006 Yamaha Majesty (400cc). Of all the two wheels I ever have owned this is the best. I will say this 60mph is to slow. Now the hard part, finding somebody else that likes living on the edge to ride with.

Way down south here- I am in the keys.half way to Key West in Marathon, lots of scooters in KW only transportation and rentals, seeing more in my town with gas the way it is, and being that the LEGAL speed limit is 45 here you would think it was safe! (you would be wrong!) the trucks try to run you off the road :and the tourists are looking at the sites! it's a GREAT road, ifn you be the only one on it! Be sure to drop me a line if any one is passing through I can put you onto good eats, and nice beaches, you need to make your own hotel reservations, but I can tell you if it's a rat trap or not! ;D

Hey Floridians,
I'm new to the scene in Sarasota (45 minutes South of Tampa). I've noticed alot of scoots since I bot mine, although I havent brought it home from the Suzuki Dealer yet. Getting a new, bigger windshield installed and waiting to become a legal driver again. Not long now and I'm very anxious to ride!!
Snorkler, I would like to visit the Keys, in probably Oct/Nov. Would like to stop and say Hi, and get the inside scoop. Thankx for the invite.
Cheers,
SiestaRandy

If not that, a quick trip to the mountains for the fall colors. Scooterlizard scooterencounter.com/
