I am looking for a nicely priced 250cc scooter online as I dont have the cash to pay what our local dealers are asking. I have decided on a roketa bali or the type 79. Does anyone have experience with these dealers 1. Www.superiorpowersports.com 2. www.extreme-scooters.comTheir prices are very good and the one report I saw said the site was not a scam but I am very leary. Thanks in advance for the help

I was just looking to purchase a scooter myself, and remember seeing posts on here saying superior was good. I checked the Better Business Bureau and they didn't have the best rating, but then again I think it's tough for a company selling chinese scooters that are relatively low quality to not end up with some disgruntled customers. I ended up going with www.extremescooters.biz/ (different than your #2 below). So far so good, scooter shipped the next day and will arrive next week. I'll let you know how that goes.....

One piece of advise: Stay away from the BMS TBX 260 EFI! The one you have is $1000 cheaper, and I'd expect it to fall apart without proper PDI, for that price, but did not expect it from the BMS260! They're using good materials, but the bike is too complex, has too many parts, and rambles apart after 2k miles (2 bad reviews already for the bike).
Superiorpowersports do a PDI, and are a good company. When you receive the bike, do your own PDI. On the 3 bikes I had, 1 passenger foot peg was mounted incorrectly, on another bike the side stand peg nut was loose, on2 other bikes, the exhaust bolts fell off.
Nothing major, but for the rest, superiorpowersports did a great PDI if you ask me on almost all my bikes!
Just call them as soon as you mounted and tested the bike. When the bike works, and you're satisfied, you'd have to call them to get them to send you the title. Usually it'll arrive 8 weeks later, but when you call the same day, you usually get it the same week (within 5 business days).

BMS is having a lot of problems. A friend has one of their bikes and can not get parts from them.

No one has heard anything on extreme-scooters.com? I am leaning towards the one on superior just because they have a decent reputation but spending that extra 5 or 600 will really put a strain on us right now

Also, check and make sure the scooter you get can be registered in your state. I was told by a dealer that Roketa for instance can't be registered in FL because it wont meat the emissions requirements.
