just bought a 2005 Honda metropolitan for some reason it won't go past 15 miles an hour I check the air in tires check the air filter and I try to adjust the air fuel mixture but for some reason I can't find the screw so if you have any ideas please let me know thanks for the help I am just so confused as I've never seen a scooter that has quit running through the carburetor it's just different

Here you go a complete tear down of the carb on your scoot. what you want to get at is the PILOT SCREW. Clockwise LEANS it Counter Clockwise RICHENS it. It is next to the Throttle position Sensor. Lefty

If memory serves me, weren't some of the Metropolitan's restricted? Still should go 25MPH.

Sounds like maybe you bought a Metro II, but like "cookees" said, it should still do 25. " Until 2006, Honda offered a restricted version of the Metropolitan in the United States, called the Metropolitan II, model code CH50P. It was limited to a maximum speed of 25 mph (40 km/h).[citation needed] This permits classification as a moped in those states allowing use by unlicensed or younger riders" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CHF50
