Hi! I just bought a brand new Yamaha Neo's 4. I'm not a racer, I'm more of a sunday driver, but I found the restrictions in this bike too slow on the straights. It's perfect for the city, but 45 km/h or 30 mp/h it a bit too low for the open roads. So I thought about removing some restrictions. I know it's illegal but I could really use some speed. So do any of you guys know where should I look at? I'm not new with the scooters and I know a thing or two. I found out a blind tube on my exhaust, but I didn't find any ring in the variator. Does anyone have any experiance with it?
Thank you very much for any help!

Thank you! I've checked this topic before. The thing is that my scooter is 4 stroke and I checked for the washer. It's not there. I've heard that you can't do derestriction with a four stroke, is that true?

No. they can restrict both 2 and 4 stroke engines and the process to derestrict them is the same. if its not in the variator or exhaust it would be in the CDI. some are able to be modified by cutting a wire but some may need a new CDI that doesnt have a rev limiter.

I found one on the exhaust. The other one must be on the CDI, then. I'll look more into it. Thank you so very much for now.
