Hello , I have a TaoTao scooter , bought it used the other day. Rode great , no problems for 2 days! Now , I went to the store on the way home it just randomly started putting then a few minutes later cut off and would not start back.
Okay here we go ; checked: -Spark plug: No spark AT ALL when I put on cylinder cap. -Battery FULLY charged -Gas Line and Values:Fine. -Compression:Great!
What could it be , helppppppp .!!

i had the same problem, while i was on the road !! came home and found a wire lose !! i believe its called a ignition coil, it is near the right side back panel ... it is circular (hardcase on the bottom and rubber cover to protect connection on the top) it has 2 wires going inside of it ... on top of the igniton coil there are 2 wire creating the spark... on mine 1 wire was lose ...

Its common for a ground or other wire to come loose and simple to reconnect . Hope that is all that is wrong

I met a goober on a Metropilan scooter one night . I said Hondas are good . Then he got snooty and said yeah its not a China one . I said those are cute widdle wheels with drum brakes F&R as mine had 13s and discs . I started mine up and he was getting mad his would not start . I turned on the kill switch for him and he drove off grunting . I only use the key to turn mine off . Lots of issues will make it not work so you have to give it a good look over . I have this book its great and may help you eshop.mainelyscooters.com/product/cat-books/haynes-chinese-scooter-manual/
