Ok! Early last year I bought a sc-150 Baja..( please don't laugh!) now it has been sitting for a long time...Because I would use it very short distance... the bike has 150 miles on it. When I first got it it gave me a touch of hesitation,, but then started and ran fine. Second trip to the gas station ..get it home no issues a few days later went to start and a get crank but no start. I am ready to wheel the bike out of the garage into the street!! But since I just want to get this thing sold due to frustration It is tank under seat bike. I have already done the following and no change! when key is turned the meeter for the battery only go up to about a quarter. way. Charged on a tender many times trying to get this thing to start. Changed out Spark plug Tried starter fluid to see if it would turn over and had it start then sputter out after 30 sec. Checked and replaced petcock and filter All hoses and connections... from what I can tell look to be in order. It has a kick, but since I have had it could never get a start off it. the kick locks up just past a quarter way down. My dad was a Mechanic before he passed away, so I was taught some skills, but this is way outside my pay grade! Any help is much appreciated!! Anastasia

You could try adjusting the valves.
It sounds like your carb may be plugged up since it ran with the fluid for a bit. Fuel may just not be making it to the engine.
The rubber in these things is notoriously bad for rotting when left sitting for a while. You should replace your fuel lines and fuel filter, and check to make sure there is no rubber floating around in your gas tank.
The kick starts on these things often get knocked out of place and then don't work until you reset them...I wouldn't worry about that until you get it running. If the battery was sitting for a year without being on a tender it may be bad, it probably won't hold a charge well anymore.
