I got a few points of Karma to the first person who can take a few pics and/or identify the appropriate drain plug for draining the radiator / coolant system.
Pics and Diagram in the CFMoto manual are 'close' but it's not the same as the Pegasus. (the indicated drain plug doesnt exist).
Thx. TZ

Hi: Don't know if this is the same manual you already have, but I found a pdf doc (about 30 megs), the title page of which describes it as being for CMSI - VR150T. Chapter 6 appears to show the coolant drain plug as being at the bottom of the water pump housing. Here's a link to it. swakkanobi.free.fr/pdfs/cfmoto/ServiceManual(CF150T).pdfWarning: the site's pretty slow, so it'll take a while to download. Hope this proves useful..... -BA

Have not seen the engine on the Pegasus but on the CFMoto and Linhai liquid cooled engines, the bottom bolt (of 3) on the water pump is also the drain.

"Most of it" is OK, but not all and there are differences between the CF150T and the real pegasus. Here is the pic from the manual: By thezapper at 2008-02-19 And here is a pic of the 'Real' Pegasus. You'll see, the 'drain' is missing. By thezapper at 2008-02-19 Any pics or info on the real pegasus will be appreciated. Maybe I should just disconnect that hose, drain, and then reconnect? Thx! TZ

That bottom most bolt on the housing is the drain for the engine coolant. it is the lowest point on the engine coolant system. if you think about it, there isn't any reason to drill and tap a extra hole and bolt that is higher. Why not just drill a drain hole into the back of the lowest bolt hole and use it instead. it saves on costs too.

Simple, just pull the bolt and see if coolant comes out!

the drain plug is one of the pump's bolt it's why you didn't find it ;-) yes the download is slow, but it's free and reliable , it's why i host all my download on this server and not in my new website www.scooterchinois.fr , where i have to pay the bandwidth

Plus the lower bolt has a brass washer different than the rest.
