I really have a bad luck with my 2 month old TaoTao. With only 1500 km mileage, the scooter is leaking gas when I tried to start it. The symptom is that the engine cranked but won't start.. then a few seconds, I saw the gas coming out of the bottom of the engine.
What do you think the cause of the problem?
I did some research online. They said that it could be the screw is lost n the carburetor drain hose. I am fairly handy, but how do I open up the scooter and reach the carburetor and check it?

There is a drain hose that runs from the bottom of the carb to a bracket which mounts to the front part of the CVT cover. There is a drain valve at the end of the hose that probably loosened up and can be tightened up with a screwdriver. I experienced that same problem with a Tao Tao CY50 a few weeks ago.

marklorenzi: I just bought one of the Fleetwoods. They look like a clone of the Honda XRM's they sell overseas. It is in transit now and I should get it this week. I will try to post my experience here. Call me the guinea pig hahaha.
