While searching the net to find a solution to a fuel pump problem ( killed 2 in 1 week. 1 ran for 1500 km, the other for about 150 km) i found out that some pumps are made for carbs that are lower then the tank and some are made for carb that are higher then the tank.
My scooter is a YY50QT-21 made by Benzhou and the tank is located under the floor board.
Apart from the fact that the pump could be of a very poor quality or of the improper type, what could cause my pump to fail?

if yours is a vacuum fuel pump then the stock ones suck. Upgrade to the Mikuni Fuel Pump. It pumps 14 liters per hour it usually solves the problems. i currently am out of stock on them they sell quick but have more coming soon. but i found them on ebay here is the link. see if that works for you.

marklorenzi: I just bought one of the Fleetwoods. They look like a clone of the Honda XRM's they sell overseas. It is in transit now and I should get it this week. I will try to post my experience here. Call me the guinea pig hahaha.
