I am curious to know who has the most mileage on a scooter with the same engine and those who have rebuilt and at what mileage they did so .
For example 16,000 miles with engine rebuilt at 12,000 or 16,000 all original .
I am trying to get a precise database of scooter life expectancy in terms of mileage . All are welcome to post their mileage all I ask is be honest , and include make , model , year and engine . Thanks

I have a 2008 Lance GSR 150 (Znen) with 7500ish miles. Never rebuilt, just replaced the belt, variator, stator (I blew it up by jump starting it with a running car). Might sell it but I kinda wanna see how far it will go.

I have a 2010 TPGS-804 by Peace Sports, bought new, engine is a 1P39QMB, first upgrade was at 500 miles, Upgraded to a 72 cc, experienced engine failure after driving 4874.8 miles, Rebuilt engine currently odometer shows 4988.3 miles..
Built by Chongqing Astronautical Bashan Motorcycle Manufacture Co., LTD Imported by Peace Sports, sold by, Green Earth Scooters.
Great idea skuttadawg, but one other bit of info i would want is if the scooter was bought new or used... That can have a profound effect on life expectancy, PDI's and all..

I forgot to say I am almost at 5,000 with only NGK I , valves adjusted around 2,000 and oil change . I had a Honda Urban Express and Spree I put thousands of miles on and only changed the oil never had any issue on ether one . The Spree had been upgraded by previous owner , I had an Elite too but it only hit 30 to 35 but Spree hit 50 real fast with lots of torque for a 2 T

2003 Honda Reflex 250 purchased used (with receipts showing by-the-book service), now passing 17,000 miles on original engine and getting about 68 miles mpg riding solo and 2 up. No issues outside of regular service.

My Honda aero50 has 8,426. I put a 65cc piston-cylinder kit on it around 6200. Also clutch and belt but the rest is stock. Except for the aftermarket shock. And I replaced the front shock set with one off a 3000 mile scooter. And a new seat last spring, but other than the bigger than stock tires the rest is stock.Well I did paint it...... I know the headlight is stock, but not the tail-light. The rear rim got replaced last fall+new brakes. Hey this thing runs great and I like the seating position better than my ChIna scooter.

Most China do not have a firm padding which I like . I do like the stitched look covers better than just a vinyl sheet cover . I would love to have one covered in Lycra like on the gel bicycle seats , it does not get hot and sticky in the summer nor rub against raw skin . The new JetMax has a comfy seat

I have a 05 Tank Urban, and I'm the second owner and it's pushing 14k on the odo. I'm not sure if it had any motor work done before the shop that I got it from got it but I doubt it. The only thingsthat have been done to it were the belt, rollers, the fire control box. I plan on restoring it back to factory as I find the parts. When I got it the left switch /mirror panel was broke so I plan on doing some horse swapping withe the local scoot shop fore some new coils. So all in all I paid 500 and have put about another 200 in it so I don't think it's that bad. Mostly GM stuff any way.

The engine has not been rebuilt neither my friend or I want to take a risk and break the engine.

2008 SYM Citycom 300i with 41418kms/25736miles on. Nothing done to engine or scoot except routine maintenance. Nothing gives me the impression that I would not be able to double or triple that distance with same engine & plastics..

my cheapie china scoot is 300 miles shy of 8 grand. replaced clutchshaft, clutchshaft bearing, countershaft, and countershaft bearing at 6000 miles due to a failed JAPANESE countershaft bearing.
due to negligence on my part i very well might have to tear it (final drive) apart again. there are 2 countershaft bearings, one on each end. these are supposed to be replaced as a set, both of them. i only replaced the damaged one.
it's a miracle the pieces of this bearing didn't destroy the entire final drive.

5000 miles on the 2007 Baja Sc50 by my 17 year old before he destroyed the rims and bent the fork stunting, abandoned for two years in the garage, now fixed and running again with an additional 300 miles. Proper break in and servicing is a must.

2006 Tank ubran spot with 11300 miles on it. Second owner and no engine work. Live in arizona above 5k feet and drive it all year round even in the snow. 15 mile drive to work up and down hills on the interstate at WOT the whole way and never any problems. On my second belt. Valve adjustment today and she feels brand new again with power back. Love the 1p57qmj motor

My 2008 JM Star HL50QT4 which I purchased new in November 2008 now has 16,125 miles and still going. I put about 9,500 miles on it before the rings were wore so bad I had no compression. Installed a 72cc BBK top end kit w/cyl head and have had no major issues since. Keep waiting for my crank bearings to start making a noise but so far (knock on wood ) it's still quiet. My Scooter was built by Shanghai Hongling Motors.
