scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=discussion&action=display&thread=22431My bet is the pin for the kill switch is bent or the wire doesn't have a good contact. It *should* kill using the same wire, so I'd check the connector first. You might also want to check the kill switch itself as there might be oxidation. It's a simple switch and you can easily bypass it and put on your own if you want. The body panels are available from lots of online retailers. Any generic fuel cap should work. You should remove the alarm or you may wake up and find a dead battery. They notoriously fail. Greg

all the pins are fine, the off switches don't work with the after market cdi box up grade, when i plug in the stock cdi all the off switches work as they should.. my buddy even bought a different cdi box & he had the same problem, only the stock cdi boxes will let the motor turn off as it should.. ?

so both the kill and the ignition switches dont work? chance of both failing is virtually zilch. and on 2 scooters? something fishy going on here.

fuel cap and a seat bucket both for $40.00
i just bought a new fuel cap today..
i just cant see paying all that money for a plastic bucket, i would pay like $20 shipped for it, i am waiting for another 150cc scooter for $50.00 - $100.00 to come along & buy it hole for parts..

You have the right idea waiting for a cheap parts scoot. i went out and looked and the seat tub I have is slightly different. It's off a 50cc version of that model so it won't fit anyway.

I have a 2008 Vilocity 150 that has only 600 miles on it. I am either going to sell it outright or trade it in.
