My wife bought me a scooter from Scooter Depot for a Christmas gift. My experience wasn't as bad as most. The trucker actually brought the scooter in the garage for us! He waited for us to inspect, no damage. It did require a little assembly but the lack of instructions turned it in to a longer project than it should have been. After we got the front nose on, front tire, battery and a few other items, we were in good shape. She started up, after cranking it a bit, and no problems since.
Now my wife wants one! I don't know if we'll go with Scooter Depot or not. Maybe I won't press my luck with them!

My Dad bought his Bobber 250 motorcycle from Scooterdepot/Sunny Motorsports. Our experience wasn't bad. Simular to tradingpaint 99 experience with them. One of the mirrors was busted . So they promtly sent us out a better set of mirrors then it came with.

Maybe I should just try and find a windshield some where else. I just hope I can find a buyer for it next spring.

What makes me mad is the windshield was missing when the scooter was delivered, and the fender was cracked. So much for their warrenty

Well, it has been a month since I called Scooter depot about my parts. I am still waiting for them. I guess I will call again tomorrow not that I think it will do any good. I wonder if the windshield from a jonway would fit on this scoot. It looks to be them same. But they are made in different factories. Wish me luck.

The trucker actually brought the scooter in the garage for us! He waited for us to inspect, no damage. I just have to chime in and say that the truck delivery company has NOTHING to do with the scooter dealer. It would be similar to praising the UPS driver for putting your box by the back door so that neighbors don't see a delivery on your front stoop. No doubt the local delivery subcontractor did a very good job. However, they are just following corporate policies that protect their company against unfounded damage claims after the fact. I am happy that you had a very positive experience buying a scooter from the internet. Greg

Well, finally, after 3 and 1/2 months, scooter depot came through. I received my fender and windshield. Now maybe I can get it sold..

I bought a 150 from them. The drop off was fast b ut the uncrating was a job. Well crated. I've had some problems with the scooter, but changing some vacuum lines, getting a new sparkplug(with the right gap) was all it needed. The price is right and they always have specials. For me the experience was good but I now want a 250 or 300.

I bought a DF150TKA reverse trike from Scooter Depot 3 weeks ago and my experience was great. They answered all my questions I received it sooner than expected. It was packaged well with no damage and is running great so far. After reading all the info on the internet I told them to assemble and test the front end but leave the fenders mirrors and trunk off so they don't get damaged in shipping and they did. I would definitely recommend them.

I just took delivery of a Tao Tao Powermax 150 from GS Motorworks, and it came with a brief instructional video showing how to unpack, and assemble. So their are manufacturers out there that do provide some help for the novices.

Be were, I bought 3 scooters this Winter 2 brand new one used. The one from scooterdepotus it came damaged singed shipping receipt but wrought what damage was. This was the first week of Jan. Called CC bank right away Scooterdepot didn't like that. Best thing I did. Other Scoots are great. Still not getting the correct parts. There the worst. You can get lucky and have no shipping damage then you know what your in for. New fuel lines,Vacuum lines, Gear oil, Reg. oil if 4 stroke, Spark plug and make sure carb. is clean, all nuts, bolts & screws are tight and a few other things (Do your home work). If you can do that you can have success. Don't count on them for anything its a roll of the dice. Buy name brand used for less you will do well my friend. I'm no expert, but I know that. Good luck, SDM
