take the hose from the tank and put it into where the carb is fed fuel. the part that has 3 hoses is thereby bypassed. When you pull the hose that goes to the thing does gas come out? you have gas. Put the airfilter back on. does it start?

Not while running, but when you stop gas will want to follow gravity through your carb and onto the floor. The vacume hose from the carb manifold should be taken off and blow-out the inside, and the nipple to. Some chance that the vacume hose is collapshing and should be replaced.
A temp solution is to disconnect the fuel hose you ran to the carb each time you park it. Keep gas from running out sticking a plug in it and duct taping it to the highest point on your seat. Pretty cheese... take off the petcock and clean it all with air and get new tubing. Putting inline a valve would be nice but I haven't found any cheap ones.

No...no harm in bypassing the valve when it's running....just make sure to hook it back up when ya park it, 'cause otherwise ya could end up with gas where ya don't want it....

Not while running, but when you stop gas will want to follow gravity through your carb and onto the floor. That shouldn't be true. I've not had a vacumm operated fuel petcock or any other shut off valve between my tank and carb, and I've not lost a drop onto the floor. My float bowl shut off valve works like it is supposed to (as should anyone elses). And blue smoke = burning oil. Not normal, but not uncommon with used, cheap scoots. (assuming you have a four stroke). It's fixable, but involves a teardown of the motor.

Many people have proved this posting about the puddle of gas on the floor. Manufacturers would not purchase and install it if it was not necessary. The smoke could be due to the extra fuel that may have made it to the intake. If the engine has less than 500 miles, the rings are still seating. Im hoping its just a little rich due to the extra fuel. You can borrow a compression tester from Autozone if you want to see how the rings are doing.

What Pony says, plus....you could end up with gas in your crankcase- diluting your oil...and you might not even realize it till the engine blows. (And that wouldn't even be a concern if your place burnt down from the gas on the floor....)

OK let me update on the facts its a 2 stroke, geely that i bought used, its been sitting for 3 years and don't know what is goes under your feet but that panel is missing and has nothing in it. has no battery or brakes, oh and the cable that attaches to the top of carb is not tight becouse their is a piece that has broken post a pic in morning. that's the stats now it wants to start i have passed what i know so there could be a number of things i missed but dint know oh and it has around 454 Mile's tho it could have been doctored who knows I'm the 3rd owner.

Keep that oil mix in your gas or this experience with owning a scooter won't last long.

Ok, good update, should be over in the 2 stroke section. My Geely smokes pretty bad for the first 3 minutes until its warm. Mine is not broke in either, at 230 miles. You can get smokeless oil but that does not mean it will never smoke. You may need a new throttle cable. Do you have an electric or manual choke?

"It has no battery"
Box under your feet is probably the battery box, with the top missing.
What happened to the wires? Need a positive to the starter, a negative ground, and probably a fuse link.

Does it have an oil tank under the seat? Do you have a manual choke cable?
