Hey I have a 2008 shanghai scooter 150cc, and it started leaking out gas and I thought that it was that it got filled up too much but then all of the gas leaked out and I was wondering what might be the problem?

Your petcock may be stuck open...you need to replace it probabaly. Or your float is stuck open in the bottom of the carb... Or the rubber tip on the float needle has fallen off... Attachments:

Sprockets probably dead on the money. It's either the petcock (replace with a manual valve if possible) or the carburettor. (might as well replace it because it's 3yrs old and they're not that expensive)

Just replaced the vacuum fuel petcock on my Shanghai Shenke 150cc ... I suspected that the diaphragm was ripped. Used a Briggs & Stratton in-Line Fuel Shut Off Valve (part # 5091K). Easy to install at the bottom edge of the plastic side. drilled two 3/16" holes on the very bottom edge of the plastic, and used two cable ties to secure the fuel line on both sides of the valve. Very easy to access ... turn on before starting the scooter ... turn off after shutting it down ... Attachments:
