So I bought a used Baccio Runner 50cc scooter the other day. I think me and my fiance may have exceeded the weight limit on it because now it will not go near as fast and it is smoking a little out of the back. I believe it may need more oil but I do not know the correct mixture of gas and oil. Any help would be fantastic! I really would like to enjoy my new ride.

Exceeding the weight limit won't cause engine problems, maybe suspension problems. There are people here that exceed the weight limit by themselves. Smoke on a two stroke scooter is normal. You can reduce this by using a synthetic two stroke oil.

You need to determine whether or not you have the oil pump hooked up or whether you have to pre-mix; not knowing about your scooter is a blow-up waiting to happen.

thanks for the input guys! I did some more searching online and figured out that my muffler was full of carbon build-up and was causing my scooter to run slower. I removed the muffler and cleaned it and now it runs great! I also found out that I do not have to pre-mix! Thanks so much guys! -Stephen
