My neighbor is selling a 2009 150cc Ishimoto scooter with 600 miles on it for $600. It needs a bit of fuel system work and an oil change (sat in garage for a year) but other than that this seems like it should be a good deal. But I can't find much information about it online so I'm looking for review type info. Is this a reliable scooter?

post a photo, if it's similar to another well known scooter than at least people on here can help you with that.
Here's a question, whats your experience with working on scooters or any type of small engines?

Eons ago in college I worked on my 400cc Honda motorcycle (my first bike) then my Interceptor 700. So, I can work on them - not a problem at all. I'll take a pic and post it.
Ok - how do I post a picture?

Not sure about the make but it looks good. It is most likely just like most and has the GY6 motor but without looking closely I am not sure what it is. SOunds like it is not a bad deal.

It's similar to the Roketa MC-13 150 'bali', most likely made by Jonway Motorcycles Star (yes thats the name of the company) in Shanghai, China. Hope this link helps www.motorscootershopper.com/roketa/bali150ccscooter.aspIt's an extremely common scooter, many people on the forums own it in one form or another. It seems to have a good reputation, although the panels tend to be a pain to remove...like on most scooters. Good luck.
