Did you happen to see what size main jet you have? It should say on the side of the jet.

Thanks for the tips mirrors on the way..yea!
Yes main jet in std carb was 80 went to Scooter shop and got a 90 but it was not the correct jet as it didnt fit. So this weekend back I go.
Still looking for 13" alloy wheels or any 13" wheels...or even at a pinch better 12" ones than I currently have. Better post some pics of Scottie when he is complete again Cheers guys

Hi took it for a quick fang with std jet and pod filter just a couple of k's to get a plug reading to start from. Boy its noisy now esp on wide open throttle but could tell it was lean as it just felt strained. Did enough to get a plug reading and its lean, almost white plug tip. So do you think 90 will be enough with 82cc big bore and cam plus pod filter? Local scooter shop guy say they go up 10 for just a filter on any engine. Might get them to get me a 95 if they have it?

Well the carbs I get have a 85 main jet and when I put a air filter on I upgrade to a 88 main. However if you are starting with a 80 I would think a 90 would be enough for a 82cc motor with all the mods. 95 may be to much.

Thanks for the advice I will check that jet again as 85 could look like 80 must admit even with magnifying glass I was not sure. Will stick with 90 and see how it goes.

Finally got a 90 jet but its been drilled so wasnt that keen but hey its been fitted and seams to be fine. Top speed is 60kph+ I expect it could be around 70kph will have to have it checked... Still not keen on the electric start so its kick start only....so be it then until I find an uprated starter motor that is..... Have searched the world.... wel it feels like it anyways and cant find a supplier of 13" or larger alloy wheels for the beast. Can find plenty of producers if u want to buy a 100 sets.........
