I've got an '07 Yamaha C3 that's at 46.6 mph. Replaced the stock variator with a Dr.Pulley unit with 3gr sliders and put the tallest rubber out back that doesn't need the fender to be removed, A 140?90-10. Stock it ran 36mph (gps), and climbed hills pretty well, Derestricted jumped up to 42mph (gps) And it put it's hands over it's eyes when a hill was anywhere near! Now with the Dr.Pulley variator and sliding weights, Picked up 4.5 mph and it climbs hills way better than stock. The gearing is a bit high as it takes it's time getting to speed but holds that speed really well in the rolling hills out in the country around where we live. As soon as someone comes up with an exhaust system tuned to work with a 50cc 4T scooter I'm looking at getting into the 50 mph zone somewhere. Gabe

I brought it home, put air in the tires, filled it with gas, cleaned the airfilter, and checked a few other things. I think i hit almost 50mph that day. I know it would do 50 after 2000rpm clutch springs, a 1000 rpm torque spring, and a set of sliders. Now with the help from Polini i can cruise 50 at alittle more than half throttle .

I hit 50.3 mph today (Sigma Bike Computer). That's with an 80cc QMB139 in my Tank Urban Sporty 50. I didn't push it to it's limit yet, I just wanted to break the 50mph barrier.

Finally! Been working on this one for a very long time now, and today....yes! Big Bore XXL kit 52 mph at 8000 rpm. Had my scooter for soon a year now, and tuning all the time. This worked: - 82cc incl. "racing" cylinder head with bigger valves - original carb,19 mm, equipped with 0,94mm mainjet - 6 gram variatorweights - some sort of a Chinese windshield, (wich does a hole lot...) Verified by my Navigon GPS Have never ever felt this strong on a Chinese... ;D Cummuting approx. 56 miles/day to work, there and back.... The big experiment would be to see how long I could run it before it breaks down..... Chinese quality??? I´ll keep you all posted...

Hi, can anyone here help me how to remove restriction from a Boreem BMS Pinnacle 50cc scooter or make it go faster with better acceleration, please? I get cars line up behind me on the roads, it's embarrassed. I've heard from Yahoo that most Chinese scooters have no restrictions, maybe I just try lighter weight's in the variator. Is that true? And how can I try the lighter weight in the variator? And where is the variator? Thank you very much for your help. P.S. Also, anyone knows a scooter shop in Southern Calif, like Huntington Beach, that I can take my scooter to for maitainance? Thanks,

Sorry if i didnt see it posted anywhere but does anyone know what other modifications were done on this test? Or was it only BBK, carb and intake?
Obviously with a different variator, belt, gear up kit and maybe exhaust we might see closer to 60mph???

I've had varying success with Performance 'Power Pipe' exhaust systems. if your scooter is fuel injected it will make very little difference however on scooters without fuel injectors the results are genrally good

50cc Sunl Scooter
Installed 1000rpm torque spring, 1500 rpm clutch springs, 5.5g Dr. Pulley Sliders, #88 main jet, high performance coil, iridium spark plug, two 3/16th holes drilled in muffler. Hit 47 on a flat easily, 32 mph up hill, well past 50 mph downhill..
After 72cc kit install - 55 mph on a flat, 74mph downhill, 45mph uphill.

^^^^^^ HAHAHAHA! Your the WORST type of person EVER! There is no way in the WORLD your EVER getting 74mph. SHAME ON YOU!!! I have spent hundreds of dollars (and then some) and probably a hundred hours of work in the last year to get 51.45 MPH ---> GPS CONFIRMED spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Au7at-LUUiZzdDdXMnFkVF9NdkVEMWZadzdwLVRFSXc&hl=en#gid=0The TRUE (139QMB) 50MPH club is not that big. There are only a dozen or so that I know of on here. Your reading your kilometers/hour OR your a total liar. Simple as that. p.s. anyone claiming anything nowaday's needs to be providing SOME sort of proof of their claims. You just CAN'T come on here and expect people believe your rediculous stats. Even if your claims aren't that rediculous, we still won't believe you till you SHOW something. So why bullsh!t? You want your scoot to do 50mph? Look right below. I COULDN'T have made it any easier....

ILLgotti, Right On!! I was waiting for someone to come on and ask for the PUDDING. Heck some 150ccs have a hard time going past 50 U.S Miles Per hour. Now if its Chino Meters they are reading now that I would believe. Also the Speedos are usually Way off most read 10 or more faster than you are actually going. Bone for you Illgotti Alleyoop

Trust me, Bike hits 74mph downhill.. Radar gun verified. Granted, the hill is approx. a mile long on a 30 degree grade and I've destroyed two sets of wheel bearings in 3 monthes. 55 on a flat. Climbs to 45mph quickly. Takes another 1/2 mile to get to 50mph and another 1/2 mile to get to 55 mph.

How fast can you go back up the hill? Painfully bloody slowly I'd hazard a guess. Any of you China scoot riders fancy a race against my 50cc two stroke? It's stock bar the exhaust and contra spring, and I bet I'll still beat you ;D
