Hi!! i just found in china a new 200cc engine for 500usd all included: -200cc engine -Carburator. -Air filter - CDI - Ignition coil - Oil cooler.
It fits in the GY6 125 and 150 engine holdings and have warranty for 1 year parts.
It is 9,7KW at 7500 and 13.8 Nm at 6000rpm. 66mmx60mm
I tried it in china while i was trying to find performance parts and I did go s 108km/h (GPS) without any problem in busy china roads, i think it should go 115Km/h in open road.
Why bother to do all the tuning and having all the work??? And with no waranties.
If you want to buy 200cc GY6 engine send me mail and i will send to you contact.

You're talking about a 175cc GY6 engine, I suppose......something like what's already available and sold as a "200". A BMS Pathfinder 200 is an example.....only 175cc. Here's Scrappy's "200"...

Maybe.....but how would you know the true CC before you take an example apart and measure?

Hello! We also bought that 175cc engine as a 200cc engine in the past. And we still use it today in some of our models but it is very low power, just around 11hp. This engine I'm talking about it's 199.1cc and from stock with 85 octanes and meeting EURO4 is already 9.7kw.... It can easily reach 17hp with nothing more than good gasoline. Also another big difference is max speed. The 177 can hardly reach 110km/h and this one can, without changes, reach 140km/h (not GPS). Attachments:

So which engine has more hp? Scrappy's or the other one? Will both bolt into a 157QMJ mount? Which has the most mph. And what is the expected mph on both. Triker98304.

How do you plan on getting that engine in the country without US emissions? And for that matter how much extra would it cost to ship it here?

140 kph = 86.99 mph, I do not believe it. You are not going to get a GY6 to go that fast no matter how many cc's you bump it up to, it will take a lot of other changes to get there. Just my opinion. I don't think the 250's are rated to go that fast.

I think its hilarious that even the stock 150cc scooters have a max 90mph on the speedo LOL as if it would ever get that high. Personally I'd just go with a BBK and save $300. I dont mean any disrespect but an oversea's warranty is a little far fetched.

I really think anybody who buys a whole motor like that from China and thinks they will ever get a warranty is naive. For that price you could still order any parts you might need (if it fails), and still come out cheaper than what you would pay for a motor here. And I still say it would get hung up in customs without some kind of US Emissions certification. I read where US customs sent several boat loads of generators back to China because they weren't emissions certified.
