lambda50 when did you see my scoot? We hope to do the first test ride in a about 10 days or maybe a bit less I came up to your shop a few months ago while I was at Peace getting scooters to sell. I had that dumbass boy with me that had long red hair with a stocking cap. I bought some 6 gram rollers and a jet from you. I was the one that said that the 44mm bore was a 63cc.

Haha I wanna see it too. I might go find me a junk 50 to do this too since I can get motors a little cheap. Or get a GY6-B with a 16" wheel.

What will be included in that price, just the bracket or will it be shocks and all?

The kit will include the mounting bracket, rear shock bracket and all the hardware, you will able to run the stock shock or an upgraded one.
Hey lambda50 I remember now, stop in again sometime.

Finally got the tire and wheel set for our 50cc to 180cc Chinese Scooter engine swap "Fatty" kit. The wheel and tire look awesome, real fat and very low profile. Hope to have the motor mount done in 10 days or so. Here is a photo of the tire & wheel

That's one serously sexy lookin scoot. 8-)I had the same 150 motor idea but went about it differntly it's still in the works I used a honda 150 dirtbike motor. With a 5 speed trans I had to fab a swing arm and solid motormounts. My next challenge is going to be shifter location and clutch/ brake lever possiblities. Whenever I manage to finish it I will post the whole build

I have an Il Bello 50cc(same chassis and dimensions as 150cc). Will this work. Also, other than a new wiring harness(could be a nightmare), what ither mods would be needed??

It is not going to work on your scooter, the problem will be getting the rear shock mount to clear under those fenders. The wiring harness will not have to be changed. We will chronicle the build with videos and photo's pretty soon.

**glances over at my old 150cc by my bed** lol I might try this kit on my 50cc peace sports. Price isn't bad at all either because you can't really put a set price on great craftsmanship and the labor, measuring, welding, powder coating adds up so the price is nice.

Oh wow Monster Gy6 i see you already have the motor mount and fatty kit up on your site! What exactly do you mean by 11in stretch, does this apply for the long case engines only? Also what scoots does it fit, frame type wise, ive got a 09 Redstreak 50cc scoot. However it has the two rear shock mounts already on it. Would i still need the mount that comes with your kit? Where does your mount bolt up? This may finally make my dream of a 150cc swap come true

The 11" stretch is +- 11 inches from the original mount to the new mount. As soon as we start the build we will take photo's and post them. The first brackets will be installed this weekend. I will post pictures very soon. I will also document what kind of frame this mount will fit. M-GY6 Engine Swap Mounts

I'm definitely gonna snag a fatty tire kit and all the other goodies along with the extension. I've been looking for a rear disc brake kit to get rid of my drums but no luck so far.

i was just checking out your custom pics there... is that a line run from the oil fill plug (check plug whatever u want to call it) to a "nos" can?

Post by monsterGY6 on Nov 22, 2010 9:46:23 GMT -5
I ran the valve cover vent tube, with a braided line into a NOS bottle as my oil catch can. Works well.
