Does anyone know how to get my 49cc Kymco Sento to go alittle bit faster than 30 mph I love it but wish it could have alittle more speed.

A BBK willl give you the best bang for your buck. However, a stock 50cc 4T should do at least 35 mph on the flat, it's probably restricted. I think, for this model, it's a pink wire going to the CDI, but I'm not 100%. There could also be a washer in the variator.

a 50cc 2 stroke should go 40 out of the box unless it's restricted in some way. Maybe some of the 2t guys can chime in, my experience is with the 139QMB 4 stroke engines...

Kymco makes a 100cc version of the Sento for the European market, and from the spec it's a true 100cc. I have seen the Sento 50 and 100 side by side in the flesh and it looks like the size and mounting should be identical. It might be costly but if you can source the 1st-party 100cc engine, it should drop right in and give you a very nice boost.
Who told you you have a 2-stroke? I don't know if Kymco made several versions of the Sento, but I'm getting 4-stroke from their official site. You're a bit limited with 4T and increasing the engine with a bore kit or the 100cc engine might be the only reliable way to increase your performance. However, as others have said if you are having trouble getting 30mph, you probably have some restrictions in there.
The Sento is really cute and I wouldn't mind at all having a 100cc Sento as a secondary scoot.

I'm not positive about the Sento model, but a lot of Kymco 49cc scooters are restricted. You can improve the top speed on the cheap by removing the variator boss and replacing it with a stock QMB139 boss. The stock variator has a spacer machined into the boss that doesn't allow the front pulley to reach it's maximum size. You might lower the weight size while your at it. This ones out of an '04 Filly LX. Sorry for the blurry photo. Also most models have a rev limiter built into the CDI. Here's a write up on several models. www.scribd.com/doc/2210136/2Wheel-Derestriction There's also a phone# at the bottom. Call Kymco and ask them. What ya got to loose? RD
