I bought a Yamaha Morphous. Took awhile to decide I could live with the looks, but the design and quality won me over. Its a great ride, I only paid $2200 for it with 3300 miles and perfect condition. Now, I want to customize a little. I'd like to find an exhaust system, air filter, programmer, and wider rims. You can probably guess what the problem is. It's getting hard to find aftermarket stuff for a Morphous. If anyone here has some ideas about where to find these things, I'd appreciate it.
Happy riding.

Just kidding...enjoy your new ride!! ;D ;D ;D Yeah, I know, but its really not a rap on the Morphous. Its my formula for every two-wheeled ride I've owned, except for the programmer which I only did to the last two. All the others were carbuerated, so they got re-jetted. The Morph is a sweet ride, but I'd like it to "plant" a little better, and though it will hit an indicated 80, I'd like the capability of a little more top end for merging on the interstate. Just being my usually picky self.

Dragon Custom has some appearance items. You can get some stuff from Japan but it is expensive. How is your Japanese?

Thanks Luke. I can't disagree with your love of the Morphous. It reeks of quality. I'll definitely check out the sites you guys mentioned. So far, wheels and exhaust have been a problem to find. I'll check out the Morphous Yahoo group, too.

I was also noticing that the manual for the Morph advises against using "higher quality" lubricants. I suppose than the recommended Yamalube. Anyone else know if other manuals say anything like this, and what this actually means? Sounds like they don't like synthetic?
