I live in my motor home full time & this 49cc,2 stroke 2003 Geely scooter is my only other transportation. It has about 1200 miles on her. I was coming back from town doing about 30 mph on a good paved road, the temp here at the time was about 85 deg, and all of a sudden the scooter froze up like i had put full brakes on HARD, and it came to an abrupt stop! I sat there for a minute in a shock, then tried to start it again. At 1st it wouldn't even turn over, but the 2nd or 3rd time i tried, it turned over fine, but wouldn't start! My oil injection tank had plenty of oil, and there was no indication of any problem going on at the time! (no smoke or weird noises) Just all of a sudden, WHAM! Before this, it ran like a sewing machine, smooth & quiet! This is my 1st scooter & right now I'm out in the middle of nowhere, without a clue!! Can anybody out there at least give me some idea of what might have happened? Thanks, Stranded in the boondocks, Kelley. Attachments:

Dang! Sorry to hear of the bad news! Sounds like maybe it did quit getting oil? Or maybe has a lean spot and got hot? The way your describing the situation it sounds like a soft seize to me...
