Hey guys i just purchased a 2007 Baccio DLX 50 for $400 w/ 1300 miles.. Ive been tight on cash and ran into this deal and jumped on it.. The only flaw is that he drove it in rain and most bolts and chrome rusted up, no bigger for me..
The engine purrs nicely and runs great. No leaks or mechanical problems what so ever. It does a good 35MPH tops. I havent found any information even on this site about these scooters.. Any ideas where i can get parts to upgrade ? Im thinking about getting mid size roller and a expansion chamber pipe with a 70cc bore kitt. Any ideas where i can find these tho for this scooter? Would the chinese parts be sort of generic when im searching??

I don't understand why you guys buy bikes that are unknown. What usually happens is some dealer will order these bikes from china at a great discount for a lot of say 10 or 20. He sells them but does not have parts and moves on he just made a fast buck. And the parts can only come from China so the buyer is stuck when trying to get a part. Now you have to try and find parts from another bike that may or may not fit.
There are hundreds of unknown one time only bikes being built by china. Why do you think the guy dumped it for $400.00 and for a 2007 for a cannot get parts bike that is too much in the first place. My .02 Alleyoop

Get the model number from the engine, generally located on the bottom near the side stand. I'd bet it's not all that unusual since there are only a few different models. China loves to copy other good ideas, they seldom come up with anything original so get the model number and get back to us or do a Google search using the model on the engine. I'm betting you can easily find parts for that scoot! I just did a quick search and found this:
BACCIO DLX-50 ENGINE TYPE - Single cylinder, 2 cycle BORE x STROKE - 40 x 39.2 mm DISPLACEMENT - 49 cc DISTRIBUTION - N/A COOLING - Air, forced STARTER SYSTEM - electric or kick TORQUE - 4.8 N.m 6000 RPM POWER - 4.97 HP@7000 RPM TRANSMISSION - Automatic (CVT type) SPARK PLUG - NGH C7HSA ENGINE LUBRICATION - Automatic oil injection IGNITION - electronic (CDI), 12V FRONT SUSPENSION - hydraulic REAR SUSPENSION - Single hydraulic shock absorber FRONT BRAKE - disk type, hydraulic with ABS REAR BRAKE - drum & internal expanding shoes CLUTCH - Automatic, centrifugal type WHEEL - Custom alloy rims TIRES - Front: 120/70-12" / Rear: 130/70-12" WHEELBASE - 49 in LENGTH / WIDTH / HEIGHT -72"x26"x46" DRY WEIGHT - 188 Lbs
This was found using Google.

Iking, I also just bought a 49cc scooter. The little 2 stroke is fun to ride, isn't it? Anyway, this place is excellent for information and you'll learn a lot by sticking around. Of course, this thread is worthless without pictures, you know? (I'm off to take some pictures of my new 49cc scooter...my thread is useless, too)

Ik, I was not being scarcastic or anything, just trying to protect you young guys from getting ripped off. Just use common sense, I know its hard due to the excitement but for another 100-200 you could get a brand new scoot and not get someones elses problems and have a better chance of getting parts. Because before you buy do your homework and check around for parts for whatever bike you are planning to buy. But be as it may wish you good luck with your buy. Oh and thanks for my .02 cents back at least I saved you that much. Alleyoop

Congrats and welcome to the forum. I, too am new to 2 stroke scooters and am learning at great pace. The people on this forum are very knowledgeable and very helpful. I think I have read at least every post in the 2 stroke section. Almost every question you have( or will have) has been covered in prior posts. Pics are a must! Have fun with your new scoot!

This thing is s0o sweet... Ive been riding with my buddy almost everyday.. its such a fun little toy.. My first Mod on it lol was we rigged to a wood tablet, 2 rod holders and a tackle box holder so we can ride it to the lake.. Yes its not performance, but here in FL the fishing is great!
I just need to study on what i can do to bring it to 40-45.. Im getting constant 35-37MPH.. Ive been reading on finding out the Engine model, so ima do a search on that when i get the chance.. I stil have alot to study.. But Boy is this thing fun to ride!

Yea its a 2stroke, but IDK whats up.. Its a used scooter and i weight 200lbs, so maybe theres some cleaning i need to do.. I cant run any injector cleaners or something like that huh? im reading info on it now so im just curious to see if theres anything i can run through it to clean up the inside.. I put throgh some racing fuel 110 OCT with a little oil, but anything else to "clean some gunk up"?

You did well with the $400. Baccio. Here is their site; www.modcycles.com/default.htmQJ built Minerelli type 2 stroke is a good motor with loads of performance enhancements available. One of the top Chinese scoots out there imo. There appears to be a restricting washer in the Variator. Look for yourself i've attached a link to download the parts pdf with exploded views. www.modcycles.com/DLX_New.pdfP.S. The naysayer bought an Ice Bear.......Nuff Said I would confidently sell Baccio scooters before I would ever trust my reputation on an Ice Bear product.

it's a great bike. Baccio is a great company to deal with. The bikes come new with a 1 year p and l warranty. Their parent company is a real company, not like the guys who order containers and then call them Gators, etc. I first saw their bikes in Chile three years ago, and they fly. I would snag just about any Baccio 2t bike for $400.
you can get the powerpack for the dlx50, which is a top end, expansion chamber, rollers, jet, air filter, clutch springs, and something else, for less than $400.

iKing3i.....Like Danny's Scooter Shop said....It is pretty nice scooter. You should be able to use most the parts you would find for the Vento Triton R4. Minarelli based scoots are much easier to buy parts for. I would suggest looking at such websites as www.scooterdynasty.com, www.sip-parts.com, www.sip-scootershop.com and even look on EBay and check out Daywot and Autotech355. There are alot of places to find good deals and Google is your friend for this! Just avoid Scootertronics.com and Valleyscooters.com.
