I just bought my first scooter 3 weeks ago from this guy from craigslist and his ad said it was a Roketa 250 and that's what it said on the title as well. Since I didn't know much about scooters, I just assumed Roketa was the make of the scooter. After discovering this website and reading through the threads, I realized my scooter is not Roketa. Here is a picture of my scooter: Underneath the seat, I found the rectangular metal sheet and it said the scooter was manufactured my Jonway and the engine size was 244cc. The only thing is that when I checked on their website, my scooter was pretty much identical to YY250T-2 except the side mirrors and the exhaust was different. The YY250T-2 doesn't seem to have the metal plate on top of the running board like mine does. After trying to search online to figure out what model my scooter was, I came across this website that had the exact scooter as mine : www.devoscooters.com/250cc-gas-scooter-falconSo is it safe to assume that my scooter is a Jonway YY250T-2 that was sold my another vendor with some cosmetic changes? Can anyone tell me what type of engine I have?(CN250 or cf moto). As you can see, my scooter and mechanical knowledge is limited. Thanks for your help.

Can post a bigger picture of your scooter, concentrating on your CVT case or muffler area so that we can tell if you have the linhai or cf moto clone engine?

It's a roketa bali MC-13, lance Duke Touring, Tank Touring, SunL Falcon, JMStar Sheep Dog etc etc. The running board covering is importer dependent...some are just straight fake rubber, others are fake rubber with some fake aluminum.
The CF Moto engine is an vertical cylinder, Linhai horizontal. Never heard of an MC-13 with something other then the CF Moto engine in it.

That is commonly known as a Bali with a clone of a CF Moto Engine.
Could be made by any one of dozens of different manufacturers in china. Doesn't make a lot of difference as the parts are interchangable.
