I accidentally posted this on the 150 section so I am going to ask it again on the proper forum. Does anyone know anything about the JMSTAR OR JM STAR 250 scooter. I heard that they have the same running gear as a 250, but on a smaller chassis more like a 150.?
I ask because I have the opportunity to buy one at a good price , but the web sites I have looked at, all have a lot of negative comments about the JM Star.
Any experience or comments on this scooter?

Hello Eugene: I am not sure what model you are inquiring about, a picture may help. Note that JMStar is owned by Jonway.

I have never been able to figure out how to add a picture to a post, whether it is a new thread or a reply to an existing thread. Are there any simple instructions somehwhere?

Hey 1eugene, I bought a JM STAR 250 (aka Johnway 250, Expressway) a year ago. I bought it from Scootertronics and they did me right! The bike has been almost trouble free. and yes, it really gets 75 mpg and is easy to maintain. The only things that went wrong with it were the battery and recently the regulator. both east to fix and cheap. I now have 2,700 miles and still love the scoot. It was my first scoot so I have nothing to compare it to. My next scoot in a few years will be a bigger one. Maybe a 300-400cc.
