Here is a new question about my bike. Is there a way to make the ride a little more comfortable? I mean, it is not horrible, but is there anything that would improve it so I don't feel every bump in the road? Would new tires make a big difference? I have the current air pressure at 26 in the front and 30 in the rear...should I change?

Spike how big of a guy are ya? The back shocks are adjustable and 26 is a little low on the tire, will wear quickly not to mention hurt your MPG. Yes I'm afarid to say that one of the poor things on these scooters are the OEM tires and most try there best to hang in there and wear them out but I didn't got about half way there and I got them off!! Avons, Pirelli, Michelin are about the most popular choices and can shop the net and find some good deals but since you live in the Dallas area I'm sure you can find some at a shop.
Putting them on also is a matter of choice some do it themselves some take it to the shop, not hard just need some tools and a good air compressor of course. Me I do my own and I put a new set of Avon AM 63 Strykers on mine made a world of difference! JRR

I am not a small guy...6'2" about 240 lbs. I will raise the air pressure to max until I can get some new tires. There is a bike shop near here that has some Pirellis and Michelins that will work on it.

Hey JR! How goes the trip? Everything go ok with the buy? Just gonna let you know I found some Avon Viper Stryke AM63 tires online for about $40 each and am getting them soon. I am having a local B&M put them on. Hope that helps the ride.
Hoping things are going smooth for you!

Well mama sure is enjoying this new scooter it's starting to loosen up a bit, got all the Led's installed today and have a new set of Pirelli SL26 tires on the way!! MotorCyle Superstore has them on sale $88 delivered!! I forgot how bad these OEM chinese tires were until I rode hers the other day and up around 60 MPH they are rough!!
Really like the way the 257cc Linhai runs and BTW Chance had my paperwork to me on the following Wednesday only 6 days after purchase!! He has called me two times to check as to how the scooter is doing and also dropped me an email or too. They answer the phone and their email!! Good selection and great fast service good guys to deal with!!JRR

Well been some busy in the garden and haven't had a bundle of time to ride the scooters but mama's new MP 250A from Killer is doing just fine!! She has rode more as of late because she on good weather days rides hers 90 miles round trip to college and I looked yesterday and she's already got 450 miles on it!!
We did get to take a ride Sunday afternoon and was looking at some potential land and homes maybe to buy and we went down the little gravel driveway. Mama hasn't dealt with the gravel on a scooter and before I knew it she had a little spill and laid it partially over on the right side and scratched up the bottom panel pretty badly but no other damage. She actually cried over scratching her scooter.
Didn't get to call Kliller until late Monday evening and I talked to Chance. He got right on it and I told him either new or if he did have a used panel that looked good and could save me a few bucks then that would do too!
Chance called and said he had some used panels but were scratched also so new it was! That was Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and he called me back this morning at 10:15 a.m. with a tracking number and arrival date of this Friday!! Mama doesn't even know it's coming!! Going to get it on while she is at school! Killer is a looking good!! JRR

scootermichael - I sure know where Grove City is. I retired from the state but before I did, you folks were part of my region. I had to go up to Mercer a couple times a year for meetings. Used to stay at the Super 8 or Comfort Inn of I-79.

Well it's getting that time of year as the old dealers are doing this and doing that to try to pull in a few more sales before old man winter sits it and it no exception for Killer Motor Sports! Look at this latest promotion! www.killermotorsports.com/articles.asp?id=170My self I wouldn't give a hoot about the oil or ball but the cover might be knid of nice! But If the drop those 250's on down a little more might just have to get me another one and start rotating them! LOL JRR

Hey JRR
What kind of price are you estimating from Killer on a 250cc in November? I am new to scoots as of this summer and haven't experienced the winter rates on scooters yet.

Well it's like anything else we'll just have to wait and see how the economy is and it will also depend on how many left over scooters the makers and warehouses are left holding! Killer gets their scooters from Jonway and if Jonway decides they need to clear out year end inventory then they'll drop them down! I estimate they'll come down to under $1500 but that's just my opinion! JRR

Well have been talking to Mike this week with killer and they are helping Smorkle out with his parts for his 250B. Killer doesn't sell the 250B but the 250A is a carbon copy so all the parts are the same and Killer is once again coming through! JRR

all, i bought a bike from killermotorsports recently and i have absolutely no complaints. mike smith is who i dealt with by email and over the phone (phone purchase)...i wish i had done it months earlier as my season here is pretty much over. but killer and mike worked out great for me. just my .02....
ps: if they are as good on warranty issues as they are on sales, i can't imagine buying from anyplace else.

Took a spill on my scooter yesterday...I am ok but sore. My bike has some scratches on it and the right turn signal will have to be replaced. I have found where to get that cheap so no worry there. What I can't seem to find is the chrome piece that fits on the exhaust...it got scraped up pretty bad. Anyone know where I could get one? The pic is not mine, just to show what piece I mean.

Thinking about waxing the old Bali up and putting a For Sale on her and getting this!! Love the handle bars and lights on the back! Look at the blue one with the paint job!! One needs to remember Killer can do custom painting on all scooters!! Red with white flames!! Yep can see it now!! JRR
