What size belt is on these scooters? Mine broke the other day and need to pick one up. Would like to just order the belt and take it all apart when it gets here as I dont really have a place to work on it.
Thanks in advance.

I do not know if it is the same for a YY50QT but for 139QMB scooters not all of them use the same belt. Model make and year of your scooter would be helpful.

Medman is right there are short and long cases. It isn't that difficult to pull the side cover and see what belt you have then you are sure to order teh right one.

It is an 08 model. And I just cant see a chinese scooter company switching from long or short motors/cases in these things. It just wouldn't be cost effective to do that.
Its branded as a NST scooter made by shenke shanghi.

Really, your best bet is to pull the cover off and find the number on the belt. These Chinese scooter makers do use more than one size belt, even from the same company, you might even have two look alike scooters from one company that use two different belts. Looking at the NST web page they have four different 50cc models with two different wheel sizes, the different wheel sizes will certainly have different belts. www.nstmotor.com/mopeds.htm

The standard QMB-139 short case takes an 669-18-30. The standard QMB139 long case takes a 729-18-30 The QMB139-003 takes an 835-18-30 belt.

Harry,
Thanks for that info, I added it to my FAQ posting in this forum, and I gave you 5 bones for it.

This model can be a 50cc 4 stroke or a 50cc 2 stroke under the Jonway name. I couldn't find this model in the NST site. I did find a Shenke YY50QT-6 here: wilsonsmotormart.com/show.aspx?vid=1213738This is listed as a 150cc. Identify the engine number from the case stamping near the side stand. Count the number of bolts holding the CVT case on and check the size of the wheels. If it's a 139QMB or a 1P39QMB with 8 bolts on the CVT case and has 10 inch wheels, then you most likely have the 669x18x30 belt. As you can see, there are a lot of possibilities under this model number. Don't take anything for granted. Either take the CVT cover off or verify as much external info as possible to narrow down the possibilities. 66
