Hello, Don't buy from Select Auto & Cycle in Boise or Nampa Idaho. This punk wouldn't give me a new starter solanoid 2 weeks after buying it. The weld broke on kickstand. And now he wants me to buy a new carb for $234.00 after calling to ask ...
Sorry about the negative right from the start. Why when I am slowing down does the scooter motor stall out unless I am giving it a little gas while slowing down which sounds like I am just adding wear and tear to my motor. After it dies I have trouble re starting it because it sounds flooded. I am going to try to restrict the airflow which is recommended to help fix it running rough. I am welcome to any suggestions or help.
I would love to take this piece of cr_p back to the dealer but, his little warranty only covers motor and transmission. Starter solenoids, fuel pumps, carbs aren't covered oh yeah and $40.00 an hour to fix even if it is the motor or transmission. READ THE FINE PRINT WHEN BUYING FROM A LOCAL CHUMP. Sorry about the negativity... Have a great day and Ride on...

Since you bought it from a B&M store there, check your states lemon law. Call the local office of the attorney general for specifics. Mike

get a ford starter solenoid like sits on the fire wall they are 10.00 come from autozone or any autoparts and will work on any scooter (they are 12 volt solenoids) and last longer. adapt the connections.
i would sa y learn something about carbs, did you tear a diaphragm or something??
yeh warranty can suffer.

Check your engine idle speed. it should idle about about 1500 to 1600 rpm after it has warmed up good. Then check the intake and exhaust valve gaps. I assume you have the CF-Moto clone engine, so they have a nice write up on how to adjust the valves in here on the forum and also at www.oregonvintage.comUnfortunately, the warranties for the Chinese scooters most all only cover the engine itself.

adjust your idle speed. check vacuum lines.
i had a similar problem. turn out the float needed adjustment. i'm gonna put a electric pump on mine. that will no doubt solve my fuel problems.
