I have another post on best choice of BIG BORE KIT for Drag racing to achieve a goal of a around mid 7's @ high 80mph. This is a lofty goal I know.
So I may go with a 190cc from autotech355 ebay store, and all the usual bolt on upgrades etc.
But CVT wise, what would be the best combo to attain my desired time and trap speed? main spring, clutch springs, gram roller weights and final drive gears etc? It will not be driven on the street and only do the 1/8 and cool down. I want to be the only guy in the Army doing this, I've never heard of another soldier drag racing a scooter, I want this on youtube and all that so it's gotta hit hard, I want wheel standing! Thanks guys!

The lighter the better for drag, less rotating weight. I would go for a racing variator with light weights, racing clutch, lightened drum. Run no CVT cover or kickstart. There is also a lot of parts you can remove for weight reduction. Power:Weight is big deal when you are racing. I pulled about 50 lbs of junk steel, bolts, wiring, alarms, emissions, etc from my scooter. Every lb counds when you have a smaller engine You may also want to consider a 2 stroke setup for racing. Lighter and make more power per CC. best of luck with your project, keep us updated.

If you want hard hitting and one wheel action, do something along these lines: www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2297467

gotcha, all makes sense. Thanks! What gram rollers you think will get the job done? and what rpm springs? what final drive gears?
