I was told Keeway is a high quality scooter from China. Could y'all confirm this? The Matrix is significantly more expensive than the typical GY6 scooter from China. I don't mind paying extra for quality; but before I put my hard earned money down, I want to hear a lot of glowing reviews.

The Keeway Matrix 150 replaces the Strada RX150i which no longer produced. The Matrix 150 is a QJ made scooter same as RX150i from Strada

I have the Strada rx150i Eurojet that I purchased last year. Here is the link to the review I did. scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=4373&page=1It is still running strong. I tried to buy a different gear set for it but the 150i is slightly differentso it did not fit. It's a great scoot for what I paid last year $1400.00, I am not sure I would pay the 2 grand they want for the Keeway. I think I would go for a 2500cc for about the same money.

I can personally speak on this- because I have one. Rather than putting out $2k for it, I had it financed at a local motorcycle/scooter place that deals with different credit situations. I wanted the white/orange Matrix but for some reason, I was told they discontinued that color. I had to choose between yellow and red and I opted for the red. I've had mine for about three weeks now and I only had to take it back once for them to adjust the idle. I went away last week, didn't start it up for about a week. I took her out of the garage this morning, started up with no problem and I rode it around town for about an hour and I'm very hooked on it. Very nice scooter so far, no complaints. I would like to add a windshield and also see if I can find a bike shop that can paint it orange- I also saw some orange-colored wheels. I think that would look awesome. I'm 5'4 and felt extremely comfortable on my Matrix. That's my two cents. Here's the first pic I took of it. I'm going to give her a bath on Wed and take some more pics. But to give you an idea of she looks. I'm trying to post a pic but there is no option for me to do this. If someone can tell me what step I'm missing, I'd appreciate it- Renee

To post a foto, you first need to setup an account on one of those free photo sites. I use flickr.com. Then, you upload the photos onto flickr.com, or whatever site. When you write your post here, put the web address of your photo into an image tag thingy.

I deleted my previous post. Inserting a link from flickr is not working at all. Instead of inserting an actual link, I'd like to see if I can actually insert a pic just as the 6th person on this thread did with the yellow scooter. There has to be another way? ?

How did you do that?- - Yes, this is the 150cc so much fun to ride. My first choice color was the white/orange but I had to settle for red. If anyone knows anyone in NJ that does scooter painting, I'm interested in getting it painted over- Thanks for posting the pic, still need to know how you did that. Renee

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been on vacation ! Anyway, I'm very happy with my Keeway ARN 150 which has the same mechanicals. 400 miles and no problems whatsoever. Keep in mind that Keeway uses the GY6B engine which already has many of the performance upgrades that people add. It also has better tires, battery and dealer support. I'm very happy with my Keeway!!!!
