At 75 miles( 2days of ownership) I decided to change the oil. The manual recommends first change at 300k. From start to finish it took 6 minutes including clean up!! The drain plug is easily reached and a plastic pan fits under it perfectly(not like the SYM 200 where my bike stand gets soaked with draining oil) There was a moderate amount of metal shavings on the filter screen and the oil had a metallic sheen.(the 200HD had no metal shavings but similar sheen) Gear oil is another thing, how do you fill in a horizontal hole? I guess I'll be looking for a pistol grip oil can. The Mio still remains an absolute blast to drive and my wife loves being told she looks so good on it.

Yes, you can get one of those pistol grip oil cans, but I just bought Wally World gear oil which has a sharp point on the container. It'll fit in the hole perfectly and just fill till it spills out a tad. Glad the Mio is suiting you and yours!
