I think it is the same as the Roketa MC54 250B. I have an Eagle 150 now and I like riding it. However, it is not highway legal in Florida and want to take it on the Interstate. I will be getting it from the same dealer I got the Eagle from, and they will be doing the maintenance. The only disappointment on the Eagle is that it is so fragile. Plastic parts break off. My first scooter was a Honda Metropolitan 50 and it was durable. I would appreciate any input-positive or negative. Thank you. This is my first post.

Cyprus 250 is what they're badging the new "real" MC54B's. The fake 54B's are coming in boxes where the B looks like it's slapped on like a ransom note from a bad movie. Would be a decent upgrade from your 150.

I received a "Machoman 260" from scooternitro.com on Saturday. Manufactured in June 2008, MC-54 250B emblazed along the sides, and a sticker on the dash that says "Cyprus 250". Nice bike, good deal

Interstate and 250 scooters don't belong in the same sentence. My 250 Scooter tops out at about 68 mph. Thats using a gps and not the optimistic speedometer. There is no way I would take that on the Interstate with everyone else running 70 or more.

Depends on the interstate. Most interstate is 55, and then people do 65, so that's doable. But where it's 65 and people are doing 75, that's not so doable.

In Pennsylvania the only place you see 55 on the interstates is near the cities, everyplace else is supposed to be 65 but you know how that goes 75-80 but yes if the interstate is 55 I'd give it a shot.

Mine is a Cypress 250B - bought it July 5 in Dallas. I haven't found anything loose or defective. It ran great from day one. I have had it to 60 and seemed to have more throttle left. My commute is all city so 50-55 keeps me up with everyone else. Would highly recommend.

Thank you. What would be a decent price for it assembled, cleaned, with windshield and a nice sized truck, out the door with taxes? Thanks again.

Sounds like you're thinking of getting it at a dealer. Question is, do you have a dealer around that carries it? If not, you'll have to get one shipped and either prep it yourself or bring it to a dealer and get prepped. The bike itself is running (generally) over $2k now, give or take in either direction as prices change almost daily. A PDI at my local shop costs $200, plus whatever your tax rate is on $2k+. Hope that helps you at least get a ballpark.

Mine was $2500.19 - Out the Door - Dealer Prep, Tag, Title & Tax. I drove off with a paper tag. I put about 50 miles on it the first day and changed to oil the next morning. A little early, but they advised I change the oil after the first 2 hour of riding it. No problem - runs like a dream.

dominos00:
Ordered the bike June 19, received the bike July 12, got the MCO July 14, got it registered July 15. $2299 and some change. Not quite 4 weeks from order to legally on the street.
