Just opened the box yesterday of my new Konced 150 (similar look to vento Phantom). Charged battery, filled with gas today and tried to start. My problem is that the lights (dash, headlight, taillight, blinkers, stay on even when ignition is turned off and key is removed. I had to disconnect the battery to shut the electrical down. I am thinking this is a bad ignition switch, but this scoot also has an alarm, which I understand can complicate the electicals. Any thoughts short of pulling the ignition and replacing it? could another component be to blame? Thanks for any input. I am new to the scooter world.

Sounds to me like the auto-start feature on the alarm is enabled, this is a known behavior of scoot alarms. Its why I removed mine.
Also I wouldn't keep posting the same question, in the same forum, if anything this is going to scatter answers around even more, and piss off the mods.

Sorry all about reposting. I will try to disconnect the alarm. I know some alarm disconnects need jumper and some do not. I remember seeing a post somewhere about alarm disconnect. Is the alarm up front near the ignition switch? If so I can check for a short on the switch at the same time.

Hey, fellow Konced Owner! Do a search and use terms like "alarm disconnect" and you will get lots of thread options to review. When doing the search, be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter more days and more results than the default numbers. I usually use "900" days and "100" threads and lots of results come up. I would have provided links for you from my search but wasn't sure which ones would apply to you.
Hope you can find some answers.

Mini update... Thanks gy6rocket and scootingranny for your input. The alarm was causing the headlights to stay on. My little remotes for the alarm had no instructions (I did find some posted) but they do not give a disarm double light blink as they are supposed to. I suspect the alarm is somehow still interfering with starting the scooter (cranks but will not fire up). Does it arm automatically? Today I plan to spray starting fluid down carb throat to see if I can get it to fire. If not, I plan to rip out entire alarm and throw it and the remotes down the garbage disposal. (yes, I know I should have ripped it out days ago...)

I know this may sounds stupid, but did you do a complete PDI? you may have some shorted wires in the wiring harness or something like that.

I did check all the wiring harnesses previously and all seems well connected. Lots of fooling around and remote key fob just does not seem to communicate well with bike. Still don't know what "mode" its in when all the lights come on and won't shut off (no beeps or alarms). I bypassed the alarm and after a few tries, it fired up. Hopefully no more problems. Thank you all.
