Hey folks! I plan on starting my own thread when I have more to say about my scooter... I just received my Lance GS-R from County Motorsports (after a two week wait, which wasn't awful) but I don't yet have my Title and MSO. I've driven it 30 miles out in the country and it's a blast (my first scooter!) but I have a couple of critical questions before I can continue the registration and insurance process. Where on the scooter is the Engine # and VIN located? Thank you very much, and I look forward to spending a lot more time on the board! -Gregory- Welcome to the board Gregory! You can find the VIN# located between your front storage box and the floorboard. Just pop off the rectangular shaped piece of plastic to reveal the VIN#. I'm not sure about the Engine #, but I would guess you could find this on the engine somewhere. Chris

Hi Guys, First, thanks Thumper for your input on break-in... I think you've got it right on the nail head -- just use common sense. Second, I can't believe the amount of information on this board! I was apprehesive about a China scoot but most (!) of my fears have been eliminated just from reading the posts here. I'm still waiting on my GSR -- dealer sez he hopes to have it in the next couple of weeks. Fortunately I do have a local dealer. I'll post pics as soon as mine arrives and I'm sure I'll be asking noob questions -- thanks in advance for all the future assistance! AW

It finally came!! The shipping company called me yesterday to schedule delivery. They asked what day NEXT week do you want it delivered. I said where are you located I will come get it! So I went and picked it up. I was a little weary when they brought it out to me becauce both sides of the box had forklift punch holes in it but thankfully they were at the very bottom and I checked nothing was damaged. There was just one small rub mark from where the metal frame touched.

Hey, wildbill: I just got a Lance GS-R150 and it hasn't registered speed/distance after the first 2.2 miles. Did you get yours fixed? What was the issue if so? Did Lance pay for the repairs? Warranty?
I posted on another thread, but I too the front cover off, checked the cable to see if it's attached and it seemed to be all good. The only thing I can think of is the box by the front tire is shot. Thoughts?
I've tried emailing Lance but haven't received a reply. I'll call them tomorrow.
