Can't locate the battery! Not under pop up seat or foot rest, both empty where else do I look? Can not see it from under the bike. The bike started and ran. It has 19 miles on it. I bought a new Sunny DK150TKFL Trike Oct 2010 manufacture date at an auction yester. Also need to buy a manual can anyone tell me where to biy one?

There is none (Except Here). Check if your front end is 40" wide or 52" wide. The newer ones had the narrower 40" front end because the 52" wide front end caused Bad Handling problems. I hope yours isn,t 52" wide??? Mine was Jun 2011 and 40".

Sarge, The justification on the wheel base was "rider could not get use to its width, and were hitting things". My take is after seeing how many parts actually came from the 50 CC version, is "lack of sales of that model. You will notice that the front brake calipers were not what was specified in pre-purchase documentation either. Appears to me they took the whole stock of "front ends" from the smaller trike and built these in a hurry because they had plenty of pre-production orders. Then through in the free trunk to distract us so we wouldn't notice. I hope that I sound mistrusting and cynical, because I AM. Tim

My 150 is pretty badly underpowered, and I noticed in what sketchy info there is that the 300cc version still lists 55+mph as the max speed. ?? The 300 is a good-looking thing, though. Around here, we are in the Appalachian foothills. The cities and towns are mostly built in the flats, but it gets very hilly very fast in the rurals. I took a ride last week to a friend's place in the next county, and found myself at less than 40mph up a couple of hills, in a 55mph zone. Frustrating. In town, on the flats, it is fine, but plan your routes around the big hills. What I would really like to see is the 150 mill in the 50cc trike, to see what that would do. I have not had any real problems with the front end, and I got the same third-hand word about the change on the front end width; people were hitting things, and with my narrow front, a couple of times I have had a wide-eye moment at gas pump islands, when I barely missed the island with a front wheel. I knew what I was getting, as I know some locals with the <$1000 scoots from eBay, so I did an extensive tighten-up/checkout thing before I even tried to start it, and I ended up replacing the tires immediately, but I went in expecting it. It is not a game for beginners...
