Hey what can you guys tell me about the Flyscooters Gs125.. Is this the same design as Cpi? and is this an automatic or a semi auto like the Symba and the Scout? I am looking to get back in the game and this one caught my eye

It is a semi auto. That is all I can help you with as far as information. Cool looking bike. I wonder what the basis for the bike is, a Cub variant, a variant of an off road bike, or, something else.

That is a good question.. I wonder if it is a copy of another model perhaps a cpi.. or if it is a new design.. I also wonder who manufactors this bike.. perhaps znen?

Nope. The CPI 200 GTR is a Twist and Go bike. www.gekgo.com/cpi-gas-scooters.htmlIt's kind of like those Wildfire 180s only better (much better actually). The GS 125 is a bigger Scout motor in a bike style frame with 17" wheels. After having two 50cc bikes with slam boxes though, I would hope the Flyscooter version is a little more refined. I've wished for a hand clutch many times, mostly on downshifts.

That is a nice looking bike from Flyscooters.
That is also some really good gas mileage!

Well I can't give an opinion from experience because they are so new, but I took one to a bike show on 9/11 as an exhibitor and I did get to ride it around the parking lot some at the end of the day. The GS125 pulls very hard off the line and through the first 2 gears! I understand it has the same 'double clutch' (whatever that is) as the Scout and it shifts and power shifts extremely well. I will say the downshifting takes a little getting used to, but it feels okay as well, better than the Scout or Symba. Also better is the seating and foot positions; it feels more like a Ninja than a scooter, but not quite as comfortable as the GTI.
It did peak my interest enough to consider getting one for myself, or maybe making one a demo. I like what I have seen so far, especially the fit, finish and handling, though I never broke 35 in the parking lot, but I did make some crazy maneuvers on it and it handled well.

Hey all, I purchased a brand new GS125 in December 2010, and after two weeks it had poor idle and then shut off every 5min or so even while riding.... Its at a shop currently as I'm trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with it. Anyways, I simply wanted to know if you have any information on it, or know of any sites with info, and also that sell parts. Thinking of making a hobby out of this lil bike and swapping out cheap parts for better ones, and modding or doing anything to make it better. One thing I need to purchase is some type of motorcycle license plate adjustment bracket? My plate doesn't fit on the scooter, seems the holes on plate and holes on bracket don't match up... any ideas? Thanks for any info... >.<

I had the same problem with my gs 125.
I will take some pictures of how i put my plate on!
I will also post up pictures of my new carb i threw on, the bike has a strange fuel pump thingy, mine had a cut in the line causing it not to work right.
i got rid of the whole thing and put a new carb and intake and air filter and just installed an in line petcock. Runs like a bat out of hell and sounds a whole lot better.
i will post some pics.
