Hi, Totally new to the forum.. but this is great! I have a 150cc Chinascoot that I just can't leave well enough alone! So far I'd gutted the muffler (sounds awesome), modified the header, ported and polished the head, modified the carb and timing, CVT and installed a cam. I'm installing a 175CC bore kit this week, but it hauls now so I can't wait to see what it does with 25 more CC's!!! (I'll post a thread on the upgrade) Anyway, wanted to share pics of my new rear tire. I went from a 130/60/13 to a monster 150/70/13. It looks and rides awesome. It was a bitch to put on, had to "crush" it to make it fit, modify the shock towers and belt casing.. but it was worth it. Let me know what you think! The photos really don't do it Justice at all.

Welcome. Tire looks good on it. Probably got some MPH as well. My silver Tank looks very similar and I wondered why it didn't come with a little more rubber. A little off topic, but do you have the 1P57 motor?

flynlow,
They don't come with a little more rear rubber becuase you can't remove (or install) the tire without compressing it. The dipstick tube gets in the way.
Also, I have the 157 motor. I haven't experimented much with the 1P engine yet. I believe they have slightly more power out of the box due to the head design, but I'm not sure how well they respond to mods.

My plans changed after learning I had a P motor. No more cc kit. Anyway, tire really looks at home on it and probably worth the effort. Good luck with your future improvements, I look forward to hearing of them.
