(Original post was in the huge Lance Vintage thread, forgot this subforum was here to post pics of our scooters. Sorry mods!)Here are some pics of my '08 Lance Vintage "Hardley-A-Davidson"The pics were taken at the Denver "Scoot The Vote" event, Thursday Aug 28th 2008, the last day of the Democratic National Convention held here, across the street from Erico Motorsports. It was getting late in the evening so they didn't turn out as well as they could of. Plan to go back to the spot on a Sunday and take more pics. Enjoy! Some of the pics are just to show the reflective qualities of the checkered tape, pinstriping and Hardley sticker. Yes I removed the LANCE name on the front as mine came crooked. I like when people asked me what it is, I reply,"It's a Hardly....Hardly A Davidson!!" People are amazed when I say I ordered it off the internet. I love it, and my girlfriend loves riding on the back of it with me. She's thinking about getting a red Vintage, and get the seat custom-covered with zebra stripes. I'm probably eventually get my seat recovered with a dark red leather/nylon. Let me know what you think of the pics. And I hope my pics aren't too big! ;D

Thanks! I got the stripes from a safety supply store. They come in both 2-inch & 3-inch. I have the two inch. I think the 3-inch would be more difficult to work with.
Thanks again for the comments!

A couple of people have messaged me asking where to find the "Hardley-A-Davidson" decal. You can find it at ActiveGlow.com under the Info stickers sections: www.activeglow.com/info_stickers.htmOr I'm sure it's on the the same company's other web site: PurpleHarley.com Great company, products and fast shipping!

Looks good, any future mods? Just ordered a racing variator & 11g weights. Will probably have the muffler drilled out or have something custom fabricated by a local muffler shop eventually too. Since the Vintage is a Honda Joker clone, I'm thinking about getting some chrome emblems made that say,"Riddler"

Just some updates. Flyscreen has been working well, though kinda wish it was just a litter wider & taller, but I'm a pretty wide & tall kind of guy.

Just another update. Scoot still going strong. Have about 9000mi on it now. Repairs performed: carb seized last winter & repaired last summer (June '11) - my fault as I didn't winterize it properly. This winter I winterized it properly & have been diligent on starting it at least once a week & letting it run for about 10-15mins at a time. Regular oil changes twice a year (Spring & Fall). Start switch fired - had been repaired but fired again, so I bypass the normal starter & have a pushbutton switch now. Due to the firing of the starter switch, my rear brake light stays on constantly - not to worried about that as I have enough reflective stickers & reflectors, I think drivers following me can see me clearly. Brakes replaced & adjusted regularly. The kickstarter needs to be replaced & probably will this Spring. Amazingly I still have the original battery & tires. I did have an issue of hitting a big bump & the plug wire popped off the spark plug so the engine died. Luckily I was close enough to how I could push it & diagnose/repair myself. All in all, I feel I got a great deal on this scoot & still love it's looks
With gas prices creeping back up, I'm sure it's going to see a lot more use this summer
