My dad and i picked this up to restore, should be a lot of fun working on it together. 2006 Red Streak with 200 miles on the rebuilt and upgraded engine and cvt Mechanically she only has one issue the e starter sticks sometimes. 100cc bbk and every performance part you could want. the ride is exhilarating to say the least. Those are really easy bike to work on too since the entire rear plastic assembly comes off in one piece once the seat and bucket are out.

inkyben is right..super easy to work on...they are identical to the old Tank Urban Sporty..and the Roketa. You can actually get the body plastics off without breaking them or the tabs on them. Is it the 10 inch or 12 inch wheel model?.. Sounds like you 2 got a great deal....I am jealous..

I presume you're going to register this bike as a motorcycle? In my State BHP determines whether on not you have to register them not CC displacement www.ct.gov/dmv/cwp/view.asp?a=810&q=430480All of our motorbikes that produce over 5 BHP are registered and insured. we have a few motorized bikes and scooters that produce less then 5 bhp and are not. I always follow the law, i have too As im a law enforcement officer.

Our small Township Officer was stopped for a DUI by the State boys...after beating his spouse till she was hospitalized. Everything was dropped...he was just relieved of his duties. While 3 County Deputies were charged with growing and selling an acre of Marijuana in the middle of one of their cornfields. All released on their OR...and charges may be dropped as well...due to a technicality of some sort....because the guy that reported it was illegally Pheasant hunting on the property??.. Anyway...nice to know ya Miss Derbi...

I was raised with the concepts of duty honor and self sacrifice, my dad saw to that. and i continued that philosophy while in the military ( 6 years MOS 5811 MP USMC) and am now a sergeant with the CT state police. I would never abuse my power.

Each time I look at my shadow box and see the Purple Heart...I think to myself..."yup..would do it all over again" Laying over a wounded Marine..a bullet took out my upper right kidney...another 'Doc' helped me drag him off...reason being...that is the sacrifice we make and a code of honor we uphold. Anyway..back to the topic...where did you find the Thermochromic paint?.. I could use that to outrun the Police...they'd be on the look out for a black scoot..then when the sun hit it long enough...it would be a different color...and they would not suspect me... ;D

Thanks for the link! I once bought a Mustang 5.0 from a Police auction in Virginia Beach. I began to sand and prep it for a paint job. It was like sanding a Jaw Breaker piece of candy....each layer was a different color..I was like wth? A friend of mine and Deer hunting buddy...a Base MP told me..."Doc...that is a drug runner car...they do that alot...change the color" Figuring the VIN was in a PC somewhere...I sold the car cause it made me paranoid. All I could think of was having the VIN number ran...and hearing.."Sir...step outta the car...hands behind your back"...
