I have a chrome storm 250 with te 244cc Honda clone motor, I've had this scoot since 2010 and man is this thing fast I've done a number of custom mods to it, uni filter/ main jet upgrading ect trunk lights, chopper handle bars. But for the life of me I can't figure out the problem when it's idling. It jerks and bucks but there isn't ANY hesitation or bogging in any part of the throttle band. I JUST put on a new intake and braced the crb with a custom hanger mount to prevent permitted failure this time around. Valves are adjusted correctly. I bought a new carb back in early December to rule out that. I've removed the entire vacuum fuel peacock, just have gravity fed fuel line with filter, so manifold vacuum is right at the carb. I tightened all hoses clamps ect. I've been thought thick and thin with this thing but this issue comes and goes. Most people like. I did would initally think it's a ac leak but the intake is brand new and the intake o ring,! I have no cold start issues and the bike is started telecast 2-3 times a week since its cold, I go for a ride when it's warm out in these winter months, help me out please. It's like it's surging or something but it runs really good other than that! I've also adjusted the idle, bike doesn't have a tach so I don't know what it's exactly idling @

It almost sounds like it's lean at idle. At least from the way you describe it. Have you tried messing with the A/F screw? Have you pulled the plug after it's idled for a while to see if it's running lean or rich? Have you tried replacing the spark plug?
Does it hesitate at the very beginning when you snap the throttle?

No it doesn't hesitate, you can really tell when it's warm though, I'm running iridium plugs and I probably change them sooner then I should just to be safe, I looked at the plug today it looed pretty good, brownish tan/grayish a bit! The newintake did Help a bit because the old intake didn't have an O ring I just used red RTV lol but I cleaned the intake matting surface before I applied the new intake btw, with 1500 grit just to scuff a bit

Then look at the idle passageways in the carb. They may be a tiny bit clogged or have some varnish in them. They can still slow down even if gas is constantly pushing through them. After that, I'd triple check for a vacuum leak somewhere. I'd hesitate to think it's an electric issue, but stranger things have happened.

Is the motor itself bucking and jerking or the whole scooter? You can get that effect if the idle is too high. Put the scooter in the center stand with the rear wheel off the ground. If the back wheel is spinning the idle is too high. No tach needed.

The motor itself, it's acting as if there's a massive air leak bt everything air/ fuel related is new, and tight of course, I really don't know what to do think I have to turn the idle back up a bit because I had to gas it at stop lights today or it almost wanted to stall. Probably cuz I lowered the idle yesterday but it still jerked like the clutch was partially engaging/disengaging when I was out riding whenever it idled ONLY, I have no problems once the bike is moving
