Yep, saw one on Monday on the way back from my crazy trip, loved it, its very, very likely to be my next scoot, its much better looking in person than in the pics on Genuine's site, and it felt like a good fit for me, all 225# and 5'12 of me.

To quote the Pumpkin Driver Website "Your a long tall drink of water aren't you.." I still laugh at that. I hope you get one Java.

the review is getting bumped back a few pages, here is a direct link-

http://thescooterscoop.blogspot.com/2007....k-ten-gets.html

the Rattler is starting to grow on me... i wasnt interested in it at all till i started thinking about how trouble free my Malaguti has been and how easy it was to work on my Vespas (which was OFTEN!!!).

2strokes are so easy to keep running- its ridicules. the Rattler 110 is the biggest displacement 2stroke offered in the US atm, SYM and Dealim each have a 100cc as well.

a little carb/airbox/pipe work could really make the Rattler a serious performer.

the bad news is that there are no accessories available ATM, although ive found a few pipes and such in Japan.

we'll have to see what kind of mood im in when i make my purchase as to which one i buy- Buddy or Rattler.

Imagine the buck ten (110cc) with a two fifty (250cc) two stroke...
Bumping up my insurance coverage as we speak!

Don't let your children chew on your scooter.
China still uses lead-based paint!

Prima makes a fantastic exhaust for the Rattler 110. A local shop near my house has around 7 of them. One of them they are fixing up for the Genuine rep.
It does have a lot of potential. Sounds mean with the Prima on it but doesn't keep up with my SR50R Factory yet.

This is badass. I want one. I just rode a red one at a dealer locally. Wow. $2700 though? Hmmm... It'd be hard to justify over a WR250x!

Pricey, maybe, but the 50cc 2 strokers are costing around 2-3 grand for good ones (Eton, Yamaha, Malaguti, Aprilla). $2,700 doesn't sounds too bad to me, but performance parts seem a bit hard to find just yet.
